Is anyone arguing against having a Blu-ray included in a 4K/UHD release? I don’t think so! However, that’s not going to change the current practice by Warner and Paramount of not including a Blu-ray with their 4K/UHD releases. Unfortunately, that’s the reality of this situation which sucks...
Hope is a good thing except when it comes to increasing corporate profits. Cutting out the Blu-ray saves these studios replication money and pushes people to adopt the 4K/UHD format. Furthermore, the studios and corporations in general don’t give a damn about customers satisfaction any longer...
In the last year, it's been $5 several times on both, iTunes and Vudu. For those that can wait, the 4K/UHD will have a digital code which you can redeem.
I replayed that car sequence with Grant and Kelly a couple of times today. I think the car(s) look as they intended them to be. For the most part, the car is clearly blue. There are a couple of closeups in which it's possible a different vehicle setup was used without wheels against rear...

Many of us already own the iTunes 4K digital. I can confirm that the opening night scenes with the thief are greenish again like the 2012 Blu-ray. I've watched this 4K digital a number of times beforehand and right now, it does look different than my prior viewings of it.
One more thing, some people are more engrossed into the movie and less with the visual aspect of the video presentation. They see the movie but their processing could be different than what some might be seeing on their display.
Being an enthusiast doesn’t necessarily mean their standard of satisfaction is similar to you, RAH nor Tenia. That also applies to the home theater equipment being used as well as the room in which the equipment is viewed.
Oh, stop it! I didn't say anything derogatory towards film purists and people with the highest standards when it comes to home video product. However, it's the mass market that drives sales not a small group of people with more critical eyes, even in this niche market. Furthermore, the...
