Did we know that the plane left from gate 23 before tonight? Also did you notice the dash on Hurley's SUV when it stopped: the odometer was 42 km, the temp was 23 degree celcius. And the speedometer went from 16 to 15 to 8 to 4 as it slowed down. Also the only row number on the plane that...
Here's the list sorted by composer (I find this more interesting): Addison, John - SLEUTH - Twentieth Century Fox, 1972 Arnold, David - TOMORROW NEVER DIES - MGM, 1997 Arnold, Malcolm - THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI - Columbia, 1957 Arnold, Malcolm - THE INN OF THE SIXTH HAPPINESS -...
Actaully, it affects whether or not the FCC could require digital tv receivers to "recognize and give effect to the broadcast flag pursuant to certain compliance and robustness rules". "Compliance" meaning that if the flag is present in the signal, then the device would not allow a digital...
This looks to have the budget of a 1970's Dr. Who episode. There is no way to do this story properly with the home computer CGI effects the trailer has. I wouldn't put any hope into this being a decent film. The website lacks any professionalism and the "news" releases are full of cheesy hype...
I'd like to see the unmatted "misframed" version someday. Several scenes in this film seem tightly composed for 2.35:1, especially certain dialog scenes, with heads, feet and hands getting clipped...As though they didn't always protect the scope ratio when shooting and that the unmatted...

I love that score. Atmospheric and foreboding. It, along with the production design/special effects to a slightly lesser degree, are the reason I own and watch that movie (and to laugh at the dialog).
This sounds like it's becoming a poll, so I'l chime in...
I liked it, too.
I was never bored, always wondering what was going to happen next, I liked the pteranodons, and the kid wasn't annoying.
I'd have to agree. Lots of subtle environmental effects, in addition to the bombastic directional cannon fire. Plus, when it storms, you get actually cold and wet. :)
I watched and enjoyed ANH very much last night in spite of the audio issues. However I found the switched audio very disconcerting. It made it difficult to enjoy the music. I ended up slouching in my couch so the surrounds weren't as audible, and it allowed me to get back into the movie. I...
why don't you email the producer/star Denise Coats? Her company's contact info is on this page: http://home.att.net/~lightburden/wsb...act.html-.html According to IMDB, her movie-making burden is light, so maybe she'll respond.
Doesn't the Anchor Bay disk have an isolated score track (or am I crazy)? I assume the new release doesn't? Also, is the overture included before the film?
You also missed: 8/31 The Passion of the Christ: $370 mil 10/5 Aladdin: $217 mil unless you were trying to limit yourself to 20 films. And I might also add Return of the King EE
I haven't seen as many as some folks here, since I've just been enjoying westerns for a few years. But here are my recommendations for what I have enjoyed, with an explaination of why. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance - Non-typical western plot with non-typical characters, represents the end of...
Here's the link to the report: http://www.riaa.com/news/marketingda...merProfile.pdf By the way, this was a telephone survey of consumers, and therefore relied on consumer knowledge of the technologies. I wonder how many music DVD-Vs were mis-classified as DVD-As. Also interesting from...
