I click the three dots next to his video and select not interested. I posted once in his video comment section that he was clickbait of the worst kind and he ended up banning me from making any more comments. I feel proud of that accomplishment.
(laugh) Sadly, it's a real issue. I have read countless complaints about noise from the Studio. It's not across the board, but it is significant. I can link you to a thread if you would like to read it.
Same here, John. And, I have a Spigen filter stand on it which should raise the temp a little bit.
And while I have read quite a few comments on other groups about M1 Studio noise, I have yet to hear any level of noise from my Studio.
For the record...
I think this is MaxTech
This guy is the worst. If you look at his videos he's all about clickbait. He will title his video with "We have the definitive information on the upcoming M3 Macbook Air" and it's just filled with the normal rumors. He has been called out many...
Sam,
I know this is a tough decision and I suppose buying a Studio Display (and assuming a Studio) will be based on how quickly you need it.
I know what I am about to say amounts to nothing, but I would *assume* the iMac will see a refresh this fall. I think Apple was putting its priorities...
About 23 days. So long enough after next week's announcement to decide.
Yes, there was an article on this yesterday which started my entire downward actions
https://www.macrumors.com/2023/05/28/apple-to-accept-trade-ins-for-new-macs-at-wwdc/
However, Apple pays the minimal in trade-ins...
Rumors are circulating that an upgraded STUDIO will be introduced next week.
A new article says Apple has opened trade-ins for the STUDIO for the first time.
I got this price for my current Studio from ITSWORTHMORE.COM
That means, if I sell it at that price, I would only have to pay about...
New rumor says no new mini LED Studio Display being released anytime soon
https://appleinsider.com/articles/23/02/10/studio-display-with-mini-led-not-launching-anytime-soon?utm_medium=rss
Of course, as always, speculation
Sounds like you won't be waiting long, Sam
I am joining the doubt that exists out there that we are going to see an iMac pro. It is becoming less irrelevant now that you have these powerful separates (Mini and Studio) and high-end monitors.
Hey, John!
I have been on many Mac forums and related FB groups. Mac users LOVE refurbished models. I was very surprised to read so many positive comments from those that went the refurbed route and how Apple backs up the purchase for (I believe) a full year.
The discount, I believe, is...
I wouldn't shoot yuh...
This Mac Studio with 64GB RAM, 1TB SSD is $200 off today
The same discount I got. In fact, B&H Price-Matched Adorama on that deal.
The base model of $1849 is great, but it has been lower. I think in November one retailer had it for $1799.
Trust me, I spent days...
I think that the M2 Mini models will take priority in being introduced before an updated Studio.
Very happy with this computer. It's blazing fast and with all the apps I have open at once, it's not even pushing 20GB of ram usage. The 64GB was overkill for sure, but I still feel happier having...
I COULD do that.
I am just running a bit scared with my Music Library which took (what seems) a lifetime to compile with a lot of rarities included.
As long as I have the SSD room, I put a copy on every device I own. This is in case something ever happens to the one backup that I have.
No. It would have taken weeks to get the card. I was not approved right away (though I should have been with my credit score). I read complaints online that many people with good credit scores don't get immediate approval.
I don't know when the ADORAMA coupon would expire. That was the...
John,
You guys should know me by now. I sit here and hem and haw for days.
When it comes right down to it, I could not buy the base model even though it's VERY capable.
With these machines not being upgradeable, I really had to put more money down for a model that will last me for a few...
So, I did it!
I got VERY lucky. Adorama in NYC offered this configuration for $2,399 with an APINSIDER coupon. However, it was out of stock and I really did not want to order from them.
I called B&H PHOTO (also in NYC). I got a really, really cool guy on the phone that went to all lengths...
