There are a couple of smaller events in my area but most everything is a "ComicCon" and now it's suddenly cool to go to them. I liked them better when I was a leper for even suggesting going to a convention. :D

There used to be so many of them in the 90's and early 2000's. But with so many of the actors in classic shows no longer with us, these things become more scarce or they adapt into something else. Once NJ's Chiller Convention started focusing on wrestlers and other off-genre guests, I lost interest.
