I thought this season was consistently good. I much prefer Moffat to RTD as a show-runner.

I, for one, enjoy the darker tone of the Moffatt series. I do think that he dropped the ball with the infodump that was "Let's Kill Hitler", but I enjoy the fact that the actions of characters have far-reaching consequences instead of being just a monster-of-the-week, self-contained episodes...

RIP Elisabeth Sladen. Man, this news just floored me. She was the first companion I ever saw, so she was very special to me. I feel like another huge part of my childhood has died.
