I bought the MTM complete series set and can confirm that disc 3a/3b is now discs 3 and 4. The last 8 episodes of season 2 are on disc 3 and the bonus material is on disc 4.
I wouldn't know how to tell the difference between flippers, but I didn't keep the set anyway. Once I saw they were double-sided I ditched them, since I already had a set that I knew worked fine. A flipper in the hand is worth two in the bush, or something like that.
Even though I am a computer programmer by day, I'm a technology retread, so how would 8.3 gb of Rocky and Bullwinkle look on a single sided disc? That would be 13 episodes per disc so would the picture quality suffer noticeably? Thanks,
I purchased it, and the pilot episode was a blast to watch. Sadly, the remainder are those three "movies". I couldn't even bring myself to try watching one of them. I'm just gonna hope they re-issue season 2 on single-sided discs and I'll pick up there.
Does anyone know if this re-release of McCloud will have the same edited/smooshed versions of the first 6 hour-long episodes? I will probably buy this re-release to get the pilot film, and will hope they also re-release season 2 at some point. But I'm not sure I can bring myself to watch those...
