Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

I've said what I can say (and been right every time so far, weeks in advance). I'm not going to say anymore or I'll just get myself in trouble.

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

I saw it before it opened. I said before it opened it would flop. It flopped. I said part two would never be released on its scheduled theatrical date. It wasn't. That's called insight. Edit: I don't hate the movie. I hate that it was released in its incomplete form simply because Costner was...

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

I'll let the ultimate fate of it, in its final form, speak for itself. There is significant footage from part one that very few people have seen that was not shot for the theater. The plan has always been that these scenes would be added to fill in gaps in part one, once it comes to TV. I'm not...

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

Do the math on the numbers Costner put out there. They don't add up, unless it was shot for TV all the while. Cheers. :)

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

--The ultimate destination of “Horizon,” he acknowledged, was always going to be on TV.-- That's different than knowing almost every movie always comes to TV. One of the reasons Horizon is so segmented is huge gaps of the story are missing from the theatrical cut. Watch it. I knew it the first...

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

The article says it, and the Costner quote supports it. Also read the reviews. A lot of industry people said it felt like a TV show. The word "segmented" is used a lot. If I recall correctly it was not shot in Panavision. Plus common sense if you're a money person. I don't know of anyone in...

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

As I said, that's the not the specific article. This article does say it was always intended for TV from the beginning. It was shot for TV, which is clear given its largely segmented quality. Also, correct me if I am wrong...I don't remember. But I don't believe it was shot in Panavision either...

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

A quote from Costner I posted several pages back. He basically said that his $38 million guaranteed he could show it in the theater first, which is how he always dreamed for it to be seen, since he paid for it. I found the quote on the AP wire. If you find the quote, I expect you can Google it...

Pre-Order Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 (4k UHD) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

Costner only put up a third of the money for the first film. He got the rest by agreeing it would be a TV series after it opened in the theater. It appears to have been shot in segments to make that an easier task.
