I think there’s value in my mind by including a Blu-ray but I have a 4K player so the chances I would ever watching the standard Blu-ray is next to zero.

iTunes 4k version has upgraded and is very impressive. Order away IMO as it’s a limited edition disc!

Agreed. They also took time to complete a new transfer for the disc and updated the digital version too.

I hope not too but it is paramount. That Star Trek 2 DE Blu-ray recall was one of my favorites. How did that get missed?

Agreed another release could be in the cards eventually. If it wasn’t limited I might have been content to have just the digital version but it’s a favorite film too. I gladly preordered it. North by Northwest will most likely not be limited but I’ll buy / preorder that one too. White...

I went ahead and preordered as it’s a favorite film and the fact that it’s limited I didn’t want to miss out on it. Also @Robert Crawford positive posts were enough for me too.

Based on 15 minutes of seeing the new transfer on iTunes I believe everyone will be very pleased. In my opinion it’s a stunning transfer.

I’m sure iTunes will eventually have it for sale for $4.99 too. Either way the new transfer is great!

I watched a few minutes of it on iTunes tonight. Wow! Breathtaking! Wonderful color, detail. Grain is present too. If it wasn’t too late I’d watch more of the film. I’ll watch it another night this week though!
