John, It really isn’t that complicated but I have to say that the industry as a whole doesn’t do a good job in maximizing the benefits of it for their consumer base. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me either publicly in a thread or privately via PM.

I bought and watched a little of the HD digital. It's not a bad video presentation and probably looks better than that 2002 DVD.
