When you guys talk about calibrating with Avia or video essentials, can this be done on a 7.1 system, or are the discs only good for 5.1? If you have 7.1, are your only recourse is to use your receivers internal test noise? Thanks, Patrick

I have read the early Onkyo 989's and Integra 9.1's had some fan noise, and the units were modified to make the noise less intrusive. I'd like to know from owners of the newer units - when the fan operates, just how intrusive is it? How long does it stay on for usually? If the top is kept well...
