That's interesting. The stores I can find that have a section of physical media have mostly reduced it to one small bookcase and with just a few of the most recent Criterion releases. It is a total bust to travel to a store for me.
Yes, going to a store for this sale now makes almost no sense. Most stores near me no longer have a section for any kind of video product...no Blu, DVD, 4K...nothing.
As a heads up Bullmoose is running a $19.97 sale on certain Criterion blu-ray titles. Not newer releases but something like Blue Velvet or Local Hero or Do the Right Thing is $19.97. A title like Roma is $23.97. The Jackie Chan Police Story double feature is $25.97.
The film is hilarious. It is, I think, his finest work but I find him pretty funny so I like several of his other films as well. This one though is a true comedy classic.
