Another post from Moffat. Not really much of a spoiler, but just in case anyone wants to not see the RTD tease.

I was just listening to Radio Free Skaro podcast and one of them watched it with commentary. Apparently they filmed this episode and were going to strike the Remembered TARDIS set when RTD decided that he wanted to keep it around for a bit. And then they used it for those Tales bits.

My point was for the earlier action by Rogue when he put the 5th in there. He could have coordinated something with The Doctor so they could have swapped the 5th for Ruby. But maybe closer viewing would indicate that would not have worked.

From the preview to next week's episode it appears the Susan Twist mystery will be front and center. As far as this week's episode. It was lots of fun. Maybe I need to watch the scene again, but

Yes, quite a powerful ending there. This one was shot in the first block with "73 Yards," which is part of why he wasn't in it as much as you might expect. The Susan Twist mystery increased a little more.

I listened to the 2 official podcasts they put out. I prefer a couple of unofficial fan podcasts (Verity! and Radio Free Skaro) for good discussion. While the podcasts that they had for the specials had a nice chunk of RTD giving some inside information, in these new ones he only teases the...

It was a good Moffat script. I think the collaboration between RTD and Moffat brings out the best of them.

I just remembered that there is an official Doctor Who podcast. I have not yet listened to the new episodes discussing these three, but plan to do so.

He does say he will check back and for once we might see that. Interesting.

From the preview for next week's episode, I believe that will be Moffat's episode. The two episodes tonight were entertaining. Some repetition in the first episode of some things RTD introduced previously. One interesting thing is he left a giant gap in Ruby's timeline between the two episodes.

There was a subsequent Radio Times article which says that Millie Gibson will go from starring to recurring at that point in the second season. I presume that some second season filming with Varada Seethu was in public view.

The Christmas special is definitely a nice starting point with only one small gag carried over from the "Wild Blue Yonder" special. I don't think any prior knowledge of Doctor Who is required for enjoying this special and possibly that is how they will treat most of the upcoming season. There...

That was quite a wild 3rd special. Here is the Behind the Scenes video, which I have not yet watched. I put it in spoilers as there is a casting surprise that is shown. Folks who enjoy Big Finish will be happy that RTD appears to have left loads of space for future audio adventures.
