Are there any reviews of this up yet? I enjoyed the film a lot more than I was expecting, probably because of the utterly insane combination of Chaucer and David Bowie that seemed to be the raison d'etre for the plot. And obviously David Manning liked it as well, which makes all the difference....
It looks like yet another winner from Criterion. I'm especially pleased at the Terry Gilliam introduction; I believe he's doing one for the upcoming edition of Les Enfants du Paradis as well, which is something to look forward to.
My first post, and a worthy subject: does anyone know if MGM are going to be releasing a port of their excellent laserdisc SE of this film? I'm a bit surprised they haven't yet done so, given their past record for re-releasing older films.
