Valerie Quennessen, the little french girl in 'Summer Lovers' as well as the princess in 'Conan the Barbarian', was killed in a car accident sometime in 1990. So who knows what is delaying this DVD release, maybe her family is weird about any existing footage with her in it. Only time will tell...
Glad to see people agreeing with me.
I'd especially like to see a 'director's cut' of the film, if the director is interested in taking a look at something he made years ago.
Upt to date interviews would be cool too.

I heard a rumor that this is currently in development for a special DVD release next summer, the same rumor I've been hearing for the past 2 years. I've also heard that many of the scenes that ended on the cutting room floor may now be restored, but I'll take that with a pinch of salt as well. I...
I just rented the DVD out now. (seen it before) It could do with a good recut, but the transfer is quite good.

Right now, A LOT of noise is bieng made about the Conan 3 script. I've read it myself and I hope it will be made. So it only makes sense to have CTD shown in it's intentional format.
Also, Jacob wants to see more of Sarah Douglas. So Universal, get to it! We won't let this rest! haha

Oh yeah, Also two Akira Kurasowa films in anamorphic widescreen. Kagemusha and Ran (Chaos)
I just watched the DVD of Ran and it's by far the worst transfer I've ever seen. Rent it and you'll see what I mean.

OK, Here goes in no particular order:
Naked Lunch (With origional typewriter-head cover, please)
Dragonslayer (restored widescreen, of course)
Eraserhead (I hear it's on it's way)
Schindler's List (What's up, Mr. Spielberg?)
Pink Floyd at Pompeii (resored widescreen and sound)
Conan the...
Hehe Jacob, seems you've created a monster! hehe
It's good all Conan fans everywhere are banding together to make noise about this.
*Jacob, enjoyed our little ICQ chat last night. CROM!*
'This you can trust!'

Would anybody want this? anamorphic widescreen transfer and digitalized stereo. With the origional 'typewriter-head' artwork.
'This is no time to doze off like a freckle-faced lad on a fishing raft.'

The cover already being used for the european DVD looks pretty cool. I just want anamorphic widescreen transfer, good sound and a special cut of the film.
*Dreams about re-cutting the film himself*
*Dreams about cutting several scened with Malak the thief out*
-'Grab him! and take him!'

GOOD TO SEE MORE NOISE BEING MADE ABOUT THIS! All fans of real classic Sci-Fi and Fantasy must get together and make tons of noise regarding this and other great movies in the genre.

Does anyone know what's going on with this? I know the studio is planning to release it as a special 2-disk set with digital remastering, but then I heard it was delayed and I'm still waiting. It's been almost a year since I first learned of the release and I've heard nothing since.
'I've heard...
As far as cult movies go, there's only one for me. That is Eraserhead. David Lynch created one of the most truly bizarre movies ever, and I wonder why we have not yet seen this on disk. I also have no idea who owns the distribution rights. Anyone have any data on this?
I'm sure this has been...
