Why would the Maude release have no captions, when quite a few other full-series releases from Shout! (Barney Miller and The Bob Newhart Show, among others) did?

I did indeed misread what you wrote, and I stand corrected! Good catch. I just thought that you were talking about the title not matching the content.

If the bad far outweighed the good, then why didn't they call the show Bad Times instead of Good Times? Just a thought. It seems, the way you see it, that Bad Times would have been a much better title.

I saw much the same thing on the Bob Newhart Show full release in two places: --On the back of the second case (with the third and fourth seasons), the listing for the second disc of the third season shows the second episode on that disc ("Life Is A Hamburger") as being aired 11/16/197...

I'd like to see some pictures of that Maude release too.

Semi-OT: I'm expecting my fourth-season Hart to Hart purchase to be in today.
