Much like the TV viewers in the 80's, I switched to watching the Dynasty DVD's after season 8 of Dallas.
I am four episodes into season 8 of Dynasty after finishing up the second and last year of The Colbys. (It's not as bad as it's reputation) I plan to return to Dallas when I finish...
I have. Temporally Out Of Stock. I've tried all the major online retailers. Amazon, Walmart, Target, Deep Discount, Bull Moose, CC Video and even WB Shop. No one has season 1 & 2 of Dallas.
This is what I don't understand. Why go to the trouble of re-packaging the series for release and fall short of the obvious demand? Did they underestimate the interest? Are the consumers and stores uninterested and then not ordering them causing Warner to discontinue production? I was fully...
I tried getting Season 1&2 of Dallas from the official WBShop. They don't carry any of the Dallas seasons. I consider this a bad sign. I was planning on buying the single sided discs one at a time as I re-watched the show. I had hoped the price would come down over time. I was able to get the...
Thanks for the info. And "taking one for the team" on the DVD purchase. Perhaps, one day, WB will correct this release. And we can all take a pebble and leave.
I'm going to have a good size box of DVD flippers to take to HPB this week. I received my Season 1 set of Kojak today. Now it's time to unload Season 1 of Alfred Hitchcock Presents,Dragnet and my first 11 seasons of Dallas. Got rid of my old Dukes Of Hazard sets before Christmas. My sister has...
Yes. VEI usually will sell the "higher quality" 4 episode per disc sets first with a new series. Then come out later with the lower disc count set at a later time. I assumed that since the 90's Untouchables was a two season series, they would only offer one version. Sad it had to be of lower...
I bought the DVD set of The Untouchables. Was surprised at the episode count per disc as well. Considered buying the blu-ray version at one point, but the show has a video master. I would think the blu would at least have a higher bit rate per episode. Considered the Diagnosis Murder blu too...
None of the Walmart's in my area have a well stocked DVD section. I never seem to see the titles many members here mention picking up there, such as the exclusive Paramount sets. I can have them shipped to the store, but why bother when I have Amazon Prime.
