you know, I really do not understand posts like that. If you don't like them, thats fine, but this thread was intended for people who want to hear the new song clip and who are fans of the band. why go in a thread and have nothing constructive to say, then just basically bash them and leave?
O.K.. The new CD is not out yet, but it is on the way sometime soon (probably early summer). There is a new sample on Stryper.com for one of the songs called "Reborn".VERY crunchy guitars and the vocals ESPECIALLY during the chorus are really powerful. If you have good speakers, be sure to crank...
It says never before seen episodes on ABC family monday nights at 8pm and 9pm. I saw the one at 9 and it was pretty funny. I checked the copyright date and it said 2005. So.. check em out if youre a fan!
I hope there is some appreciation for such an under-rated musician like Jeff waters (guitarist). No, you're not going to find anything really deep lyrics wise, but... this is a really great album. Lots of variety in the vocals and music (two ballads) and some truly, intensly heavy, killer riffs...
Just wanted to drop in and say THANK YOU for all the reccomendations. Should keep me busy for quite some time trying to track them down. Seems so unfair to the amazing talent, to actually have to dig around to find them in the first place. But thanks again. Keep the reccomendations...
I was just wondering if anyone can make some reccomendations for some heavy metal or Prog bands along the lines of the following. Stratovarius, Symphony X, Sonata arcitca, Tourniquet, Dream theater, testament, queesnsryche, annihilator, yngwie malmsteen, satriani, steve vai and tony macalpine...
I just picked up the gathering from reccomendations in this thread. What a great album. Nice to hear REAL metal instead of all the NU-metal stuff out there today. If you fans havent heard, annihilator has a new CD out "Just for you". Jeff waters is a HIGHLY under-rated guitarist. The vocals on...
here is a question for you. 1080i on most (in fact I can't think of any that are higher) HDTvs seem to have 1280x720 rez. Isn't this actually 720p resolution anyway? I'm confused! :b
I loved this movie.. very pleasant suprise! Two of my favorite scenes.. "I don't know what we're yelling about!!"........... " LOUD NOISES!" And the brawl scene.. standing there in the middle of a brawl with a grenade yelling.. silly but priceless. :D
Rocky 4 soundtrack was the first CD I ever bought. Dind't always take the best care back then, and its gotten a few scratches so some songs don't always play through without skipping. I was looking to re-purchase the CD and now it has 9 tracks listed instead of 10 (the training montage is now...
I am sooooo gald I put this back. I had it in my hand yesterday, but after being burned by judge dredd saying it was anamorphic, I figured I would check here first. WHY on earth do they keep doing this? Heck, this thread is 2 plus years old, and there are STILL misleading cases out there? I...
Is there a list anywhere, for discs that are mislabled as being "enhanced for widescreen" when they are not? The only one I recall hearing about was the original release of the thing a while back. thanks for the replies fellas. still very  about the whole thing though. Not sure if i could...
My brother went out shopping the other day, and since he knows I have a widescreen tv, he always makes sure to check to see if it is widescreen or oar and anamorphic as well. Well, I recall seeing judge dredd some time ago on DVD and it did not list it as anamorphic widescreen. so.. he picked...
I just read over at the Stryper forum that Stryper are currently in the studio, recording a new CD for release around summer 2005, with a tour to follow. For those of you who are fans, tim gaines is no longer with the band. It was to persue the music he and his wife (Irene kelly) are currently...
The superbit version, in this case is Definately the superior version (comparing only the movie, of course)... This is my new showoff DVD! Great picture and the DTS track... there are no words.. skip to the train fight scene and... again, words can't do it justice.. I'm hard pressed to be blown...
I'll be picking this up as well. I've waited forever for OAR happy. I wonder if it has anything to do with my e-mails to universal. I e-mailed them about liar liar when that was full frame only, expresing my dissatisfaction there was no widescreen version, and later, did the same for happy...
I think this one looks reall good. Loved the part with the duck. One thing I DO NOT understand, is comments like "I hope his 15 minutes are up." Why would you wish for someones career to be over? If you dont like him or his movies, then don't go see them. I too think vin has some great acting...
Harminder.. I just listened to a few scenes from both sets (I used rambo 2) Dts on the first set and it sounds virtually identical to the dolby tracks on the new dvd. I couldn't really tell any difference at all. Transfers looked to be the same as well. So I guess its all about wether or not you...
I was curious about where I could find an up to date site, that shows how well current dvd releases are doing. I've tried everywhere to see if Chronicles of Riddick is selling well. Any help would be great, and thanks in advance. :)
Yes chuck.. I can. Rambo, after the stories of his buddies from vietnam, tells trautman... somtimes it gets so bad, you think you're going crazy, then it goes away... its not going away anymore and I can't control it.. I cant spen the rest of my life in a cell.. grabs trautmans gun, cocks it...
I loved it. I was wondering if anyone knows how this is doing on DVD? Seems alot of people are buying it. They had to re-fill the display in the media dept. Perhaps this has found another audience?
Plus for this set= We're FINALLY getting a special edition (which I pray will be anamorphic widescreen). As long as it is, and is high quality, I'll be a happy camper. Minus= for those who already own the other sequels, it seems a bit unfair to MAKE them buy them again, to get the first...
Will... on the bonus disc, there are four seperate choices. "Riddick rises" "You keep what you kill" "creating crematoria" and " a chronicle calender" They are all actually one big "making of" (although, as i said arent played all at once) with cast interviews, director, production designers...
