Actually with the recent price drops in DVD recorders, you should probably look for a receiver that has an optical or coax out. You'll probably need it in the future, and better safe than sorry!

I swear by Yamaha receivers, I've always had one (except for an unfortunate Sony brain-cramp a dozen years ago..) HT is complicated, but the more your interest grows, the more you'll learn. Especially lurking around here, reading magazines, checking out stores all the time, stuff like that...

Traders season 2 and above are missing. I can't find any info from Alliance/Atlantis or Global. Have no idea if they plan on releasing the other seasons. Season 1 came out last year to zero fanfare, so I won't be surprised if they've given up. :thumbsdown:
