    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

I liked the line about Fox is the channel that gives us "House, American Idol and American Idol Results Show".

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

My favorite part of 24 Minutes was near the end when the helicopter crashed through the wall. I'm not a fan of the wackier jokes that The Simpsons use today but that one made me laugh. That and when the nuclear bomb destroyed Shelbyville.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

It was a parody of 24. It was a real awkward Simpsons episode and probably just plain weird if you have zero clue of what 24 is (but if you've seen one episode, you'll get the joke) but it was a good parody. Yes, South Park did a 24 parody but this episode was made nearly two years ago.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

I doubt Matt Groening has that much day to day involvement with The Simpsons anymore. Even if he does, the split in his focus certainly didn't hurt Futurama.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

I think there's a 'generation' of viewers who watch the newer episodes and think that that's The Simpsons. The Simpsons has had that weird unreality and ridiculous or stupid storylines since about S11 or S12. They'd watch the older reruns and wonder why there was actual realistic stories where...

He's on the short list of guests for Season Twenty.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

Even if Neil V can't remember him, I thought Ron Howard was one of the best guests in the history of the show. "Homer, we're out of vodka!"

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

The number of episodes being worked on at one time probably varies by what time of year it is. I'd assume (and it's only an assumption) that when they start out at the beginning of the season, they have one episode and then a few weeks later, episode 2 goes into production and then episode 3...

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

Yeah, there's no way that this episode wasn't in production months before the South Park episode was concieved and produced. The Simpsons also have a large backlog of episodes from the previous season that they run before the episodes from the current production year. There's been 17 episodes...

10 for 10. Fortunately, the questions all pertained to the earlier seasons which I have a frightening knowledge of.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

I liked them goofing on the losers who still cry about Star Wars.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

Matt Groening probably had as much to do with that joke as I did. He's busy sitting on a pile of money and recording audio commentaries- not writing the show.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

Yeah, although they are playing a rerun on Sunday and then baseball runs through October. I almost think that Fox runs the Halloween episodes in November now as a joke. Like it's a silly tradition at this point.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

No it was produced as part of The Simpsons' first season.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

That was the first episode that ran with the opening credit sequence and there was a few week gap between the Xmas episode and that one.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

I love Futurama but any show would seem tired going into its 18th year. The Simpsons has been alot better than anything else would be after nearly 400 episodes.

    The Simpsons Season 18 (2006-2007)

My favorite joke was when someone held up the newspaper with a picture of Homer that read "LOCAL MAN BELIEVES WRESTLING IS REAL".
