Drew: The digital/coaxial inputs are assignable through the menu. You can assign one of the optical inputs to your DVD player even though the inputs on the back of the receiver are not labeled for "DVD/LD" like one of the coaxial inputs. Good luck! John
Thank you, Greg! I didn't even think about the possibility of spyware. I ran Spybot (love that program) and my problem was solved. Now, if I can just find out what loaded the spyware on my computer in the first place..... John
