I'm just happy that I bought all those tables on Pinball Arcade when they were available. They're locked into playstation infrastructure, but I can play them on my PS4 and I think 5 though I haven't tried it.
That said, those digital pinball machines are super tempting though I have no idea if...
I think Pinball Arcade is basically dead at this point. Anything I've seen out of Farsight the past year was a bowling game and some other pinball type soccer game or something? A real shame. I used to play it daily.
It looks like they put up MUSTANG from the newly created stern pack as a solo purchase for the PS4. Charging $13.99 Canadian for it though. I think they used to sell 2 table packs for that price prior to the seasons being offered.
I'll buy it if it goes on sale or they send out a 20% off coupon.
I got all but three tables in Pinball Arcade and that's about all the pinball I'm willing to support at the moment. I don't see myself buying anymore from anyone, I'll play what I have and be done. If Farsight didn't insist on f*cking their fans every chance they could, I might feel different.
Saw the Stern packs on PSN, once again legacy supporters get bent over by Farside. I'll hold out for a sale, there's no way I'm paying full price for two packs when I need only 3 tables. It wouldn't kill them to offer them separate or as a legacy.
Harmonix, when RockBand 3 launched, offeres a...
Have you tried going through the program instead of the PS4 store? There's the SEASONS sections that tell you if you own the tables or not. I had an issue where BANZAI RUN and SORCERER wasn't showing as being purchased and not downloadable despite me getting the season pack. I checked the...
I agree with you on the Zen/Pinball FX tables, it's why I never got into them. They feel more like arcade games than pinball, if that makes sense. Who knows if they will pick up the williams license. Their tables always feel squashed, it would be weird to play a williams table like that.
Another thing, curious how this will effect tournaments after June 30? I don't typically compete in them since I'm pretty terrible at all the tables, but its a big draw for some. Would they include the discontinued tables? It would make sense not too so as not to isolate new players.
It's a...
I can't imagine they will survive without those licenses, but who knows? Support is spotty at best. I broke down and bought the seasons I was missing since it was clear (they stated on Facebook) that there would be no sales as they are not allowed to offer sales due to their agreement with...
