I'm not sure how you could have misread what I wrote. Iger already said during the latest investors meeting that SW, Marvel, Disney and Pixar content would not be removed. Not sure how much clearer I can say it, tbh.
The Disney Channel content is among the most popular on the service. They're...
Bob Iger already mentioned that SW, Marvel, Disney and Pixar content would not be removed. It will most probably have to do with some of the 3rd party content on Hulu.
I took a quick look at some random episodes on Freevee and for some reason, I expected a more dramatic jump in quality, tbh. Especially during the intro. It's very blurry at times. It could be my connection, but I had just streamed 4K content on Netflix and D+ before checking out Dallas on...
Apparently DOOL is doing really, really well on Peacock, so that's here to stay. It was recently renewed for another 2 years.
Y&R and B&B are still very, very popular, so I think that they're gonna be safe for quite a while.
Never got into GH tbh...
What I can tell you is this - it's really...
I'm pretty sure that Bell-Phillip Television Productions Inc. has a complete library of Y&R, just like they do for B&B.
Not sure why they're not doing the same, especially since it's the more popular show, at least in the US. Internationally B&B is king.
Didn't see it mentioned here, so here it is:
The Bold & The Beautiful Official YouTube Channel started uploading the show chronologically in September '21.
Gotta say, it's one hell of a hook watching those episodes for the first time. And since the episodes are barely 23 - 25 minutes long, I...
Currently Amazon is selling the brand new season sets for 57 bucks a piece. DO NOT BUY from them atm. The only new single season release still at its original suggested retail price of $50.99 is the new version of Season 2.
It looks like it's the same type of big bulky boxes that they had with the Gunsmoke Complete Series Set.
I really wish it was possible to obtain the bonus disc without having to buy the whole set. It should have either been included in the Season 14 set (the amount of episodes isn't the same as...
BTW, I was wondering - I'm about to start collecting the Miller - Boyett shows that the Archive released over the past decade.
I was wondering - are the Family Matters, Step By Step and Perfect Strangers releases, for example, sourced from the new HD masters created for the shows in the past...
Thanks, Todd!
That's exactly what I wanted to hear! As long as the disc quality is good, I can rest easy! Wally Gator will finally make his way back into my life alongside other HB favorites ♥
Hey there everyone, I'm jumping in here with an unusual question:
I've not bought WA releases in a while, and since their official store is now closed (still not over this as I'd usually buy directly from them) I wanna ask you all this:
I remember a few years back there was a debate on the...
Amazing! I like that they combined elements from the 2 original volumes: the main picture is from Volume 1, while the frame and the TITLE (color and all) are from Volume 2. Really cool details!
One small nitpick I have with the designs of the 4 new sets is that the title was moved to the top...
Well, I'll be damned! Scratch anything I said above! LET'S GOOOO! That's amazing news! I will be buying the new Season 2 set FOR SURE.
Still got sealed copies of the S2 volumes from a decade ago, time to put them up for sale, I guess.
Also, did I read that right? There'd be additional bonus...
I wouldn't hold my breath on them creating brand new S2 masters for the complete series set.
If they didn't correct the mistakes on the Andy Griffith Blu - Ray release, which is a much more lucrative property for them, why would they invest time and a considerable amount of money into...
THIS!
Platforms like Pluto TV, Tubi or Freevee will absolutely eat those obscure shows up immediately. Why the license holders aren't seeking them is beyond me, really!
BTW, I was wondering.
With a show like Bonanza, that some of us thought would never, ever, be finished, what are the chances of a show like Happy Days getting the same treatment?
I know, I know - music rights and all, but it seems that in the past few years especially, many companies were...
If Kino is producing episode commentaries for all 69 episodes plus tons of other special features, you think that is free? And just because the remastering has paid for itself via cable deals and everything, it doesn't mean that Kino didn't have to pay a hefty fee to license the show in the...
Weren't the first 2 seasons released through WHV? I specifically remember them being so, and the rest of the series was (thankfully) released through the Archive.
Two Box Sets, tons of extra features, first set to be released this summer (or at least that's what they're aiming for) the second one towards to end of the year or early next year at the latest.
They've definitely been stepping their game up as of late. I remember buying some cartoon TV shows sets from them years ago and all the discs came in black paper sleeves inside the DVD cases. I didn't pay much for the sets themselves, but they still looked cheap as hell :D
Idk if I'd call it unfortunate.
Warner Archive is great, but at least in this instance, all copies will have pressed discs, and not just the first few batches. So, if you buy it a year from now, you'd still be getting pressed discs. And that's a big plus.
Also, with this being a wide release...
Jeff, thanks so much!
Menu is the same, but apparently, somehow, I got some of the first pressing DVDs in my box, because they look like this:
At least now I know I've got the real thing! Thanks so much, Jeff, you're the best!
