Oh my god, is that a PLAY ALL option I see on one of those pictures?!

Artisan planning a Total Recall "Extreme Edition"

If Artisan is running out of catalog titles they should release an "Extreme Edition" of Reservoir Dogs and do a good transfer this time.

    Pumping Iron ANNOUNCED

This film was released on DVD a few years back, but due to certain defects, it was eventually recalled.

The consolidated, all-in-one DUEL DVD discussion thread

Yep, party's over, Amazon is not taking any more orders. Since some people apparently received a perfectly good Duel dvd while others didn't, it would be nice if Universal would at least EXPLAIN WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THIS TITLE. Or are they just going to let the public speculate...

Scarface Deluxe Gift Set - 9/30/2003

I sure hope they don't screw up the re-release of Scarface. I'm getting worried that this film is never going to be done properly on DVD.

NBC Enterprises Pacts to Bring 10 Series to DVD

Kelly Kapowski looks like she desperately needs to run and take a piss in that cover pic.

    Spike TV

I wouldn't worry about the schedule, I'm sure they'll continue showing RealTV and Star Trek ten times per day regardless of the network name.

    Spike TV

This lawsuit is almost as stupid as this classic... A Montana man named Jack Ass sued Viacom, accusing them of plagiarizing and defaming his good name in connection with the show "Jackass." http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/mrjackass1.html

    I love 'I LOVE THE 80's'!

How many million more times is VH1 gonna replay this show? It seems like it's been playing on a continous loop for weeks now.

    Simpsons Season 3...August 26th

Hell yea, the Simpsons release schedule is just fine with me! Even if it takes three years between releases it's all for the better. God knows the quality contol on these releases so far has been second to none. What a bunch of ungrateful crybabies. Just be happy you still have your health and...

    Simpsons Season 3...August 26th

Didn't Season 2 come out in early or mid-August of 2002? That's over a year between seasons. The actual first run televised seasons themselves come out faster than this. They're actually losing ground now.

NBC Enterprises Pacts to Bring 10 Series to DVD

Saved by the Bell: The Complete First & Second Seasons on September 2! This is easily the greatest news in the history of the DVD format.

HTF REVIEW: "Road House" (with screenshots)

This is obviously one of the greatest movies ever made. The fact that it's not on the AFI top 100 movies list is a damn travesty. This deserved a huge 3 disc special edition, but at least they did the picture and sound justice.

    U2 "Best of 1990-2000" DVD

I doubt it. They released them on VHS a few years back, and they were supposed to come out on DVD too but Polygram got sold and all their pending DVDs were cancelled.

HTF REVIEW: "Back To The Future Trilogy" (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) (with screenshots)

Maybe they used the same transfer for the first film that they had done way back in 97/98?

    Boston Public - 11/18/02

Kimberly Woods -Top of her class at Princeton. -Acts like an airhead in front of Principal Harper. -Looks like a 20 yr. old Victoria's Secret underwear model. -Teaching history in an unruly classroom at a Boston Public school. David E. Kelley is GOD.

ATTN!!!! New, HORRIBLE butchering of programs on TNT!!!

TNT and most of the rest are bad, but TNN is truly in a class by itself when it comes to obnoxious crap. The saddest thing about TNN? They actually had more class when they catered to rednecks.

HTF REVIEW: "Bad Company" (with screenshots)

The best way to see this movie is, or was, to see the trailer in the theater. When Chris Rock's character would spout some moronic line like "I WANNA WATCH OPRAH!", the collective groan in the theater was overwhelming.

Guns 'N' Roses concert in Vancouver: Axl Rose a no-show, fans riot!

What I really want to know is when will Axl, that guy with the KFC bucket on his head, and the other ones release that endlessly delayed album "Chinese Democracy?" They'd better hurry up before all that Botox starts seeping into Axl's brain and makes him even more unstable.

    More TNN annoyance...

People didn't actually think the dreaded black bar would just stay silent forever, did they? This is the first step in TNN's "How Much Crap Will The Audience Put Up With" Campaign(TM). The bar will probably expand in size, run ads full-time, jump around the screen. People will eventually talk...

What are your DVD predictions for 2003?

-There will be even more pan & scan junk from studios like Columbia. -Fox will continue their asinine policy of releasing the "The Simpsons" at a snail's pace. Their other tv shows will continue being released like clockwork every 6 months. -Warner will continue ignoring their huge vault...

I can't believe even the audio problems are still there. Well, actually I can. This sucks.

!!!! NEWS FLASH !!!! Warner to release SOUTH PARK in SEASON SETS

This is the most pathetic reason I've ever heard to drop a commentary track. I just assumed is was some financial squabbling. Congrats Warner Bros, you just cost yourselves some serious cash due to lost sales because you literally can't take a joke!

    Treehouse of Horror XIII

For some reason they feel it's absolutely necessary to have Kang & Kodos in every Halloween episode, even if they have nothing to do, like tonight. Anyway, The first segment was good, the second forgettable, and the third average. Lots of great sight gags in the first segment.

    ER 10/31/02

Don Cheadle is fantastic as always. I wish he was a permanent cast member. And this season is automatically better than the last one because we don't have to put up with the endless Mark Green angst-a-thon.

What aspect ratio was "The Shining" shot in?

This movie would be destroyed and downright unwatchable at a 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
