Weren't they both shows that served as mid-season replacements? That could be why the seasons were so small.

I wouldn't mind have having either one of these fine series. I am much more partial to the Jeffersons though. I think that they did some fine work the first season in building the chacaters up. It would also be nice to see them unedited and restored to their correct times.
