I'm happy to at least get two more classic horror films on Blu ray. But i do wish they would step up their production. And yes i know they have been dealing with internal issues. But that doesn't make me wrong for wanting more. I did listen to the latest podcast where it was said that things...
Two excellent announcements. George Feltenstein did say a while back that 30s Dr Jekyll was coming in October. But i'm glad to see Mark of the Vampire too.
This silence is not good. Not so much that they may not put anything out next month, more so that there is no communication with the people who buy their product. They should at least say something.
All three films work for me. But The Clock is a favorite of mine all the way back to Frank Avrush and The great Entertainment , a show he used to host back in the 70s that showed classic films. Plus i'm a sucker for any 40s film with a ww2 theme. It also may be my favorite Garland film.

I prefer the 1931 March version. It just seems to play more like a horror film to me. But i also like the 1941 Tracy version. A little more MGM polished than the 31 Paramount. And of course you have the gorgeous Lana Turner in the 1941 version. And i would hardly call Lana Turner harden in...
So is May another two and done month? That would get us almost half way through the year. At least both movies are ones i would buy so i'm happy with these announcements.
Not sure when the big surge of announcements for 2022 are going to happen. I just hope things start picking up soon. The crickets coming from WBA is not a good sign.
The two Costner films are ok films. I'm not slamming them. I just was really hoping for some prime 30s and 40s films. They have so many that could use a blu ray release.
Three very good titles. My favorite is Edge of Darkness. Fantastic WW2 film with a very good performance by Flynn. With Walter Huston and Ann Sheridan also giving great performances. I also really enjoy the Three Musketeers and Gold Diggers of 33.
