I saw Fazil and Fig Leaves in 35mm prints from the Fox archives two generations ago. I'm sure they were nitrate. But you sure don't hear about these titles any longer.

The Vagabond King exists in the UCLA film archive. It's been restored to its full 2-strip Technicolor glory; but can it be released? Does anybody care to release it? BTW, I saw it there.

I've seen Mamba in color. Agreed on Transatlantic. Saw MoMA's stunning 35mm nitrate print many lifetimes ago.
