Rich, Thanks for the review. I've owned a 38" Aconda for a while now and can't say I have fully experienced the same results as you explain seeing. I get DVD images that are pretty hard to distinguish from a full HDTV signal. Can I ask what method you used to connect the dvd player you...- David J. White
