It would have been nice for the show to provide any explanation whatsoever about what the real Batwoman was up to while her doppelganger was wreaking havoc on Central City. In Part I, it was this huge deal that Batwoman went missing while on patrol one night and no one on the Bat Team in Gotham...
The premiere wasn't especially well-written, but it was at least fun. I wonder how it's going to work if Jesse L. Martin is leaving the show but Danielle Nicolet isn't.
Finally finished the season again. There was some fun stuff in these final episodes, but still overall quite a mess.
I'm wondering if this plot point was about the contract negotiations with Candice Patton dragging out. She only signed on for the additional season on June 28, so maybe they were...
I finally caught up. The writing on this show hasn't been good for a while, but it's particularly awful this season. Much like the later seasons of "Supergirl", so much happens just because the writers want it to happen, even when it's out of character or unsupported by the story.
As bad as it...
This was a fun, light episode -- even if the time travel rules made even less sense than usual -- but it was definitely weird how it picked up right where the seventh season finale left off, like the whole Armageddon arc never happened.
This event got a lot better when Tom Cavanagh showed up at end of Part 3. There's a reason that Reverse Flash is the Flash's #1 Big Bad. A much better villain than Despero, who was poorly written and defined, and ultimately a sideshow to the main attraction. I also continue to enjoy Damien Darhk...
It does look like the crossover characters are being used sequentially for this five-episode arc rather than at the same time. The true crossover events also shuffled characters in and out based on the show and what they could afford, but they did a better job of disguising it.
There's got to...
I enjoyed Part 1 quite a bit. It was great to have Ray back, and Brandon Routh is still great in the role.
I like that the villain has altruistic intentions, and operates according to a code. The future Despero is trying to prevent is more the villain than Despero himself.
The subplot with...
I'm not the biggest fan of the current writers on "The Flash", but that looks like a lot of fun. They got quite a few players from past Arrowverse shows to participate, too, it looks like.

In lieu of a traditional crossover event, the eighth (and final?) season of "The Flash" will kick off with a five-episode "graphic novel" featuring a large number of characters from...
