I'm going to assume that the ending they casually mention in that article is a joke? It seemed like a somewhat outlandish scenario until I actually thought about it a little bit...hmmm. It was a show head honcho mentioning it so it has to be a joke....right?
I'm getting to the point in my life where the wife and I are considering having a child, so we generally observe kids in public and how they act just as a way of keeping the topic fresh. Anyway...I understand that some children no matter what may have tantrums. Maybe this was this girls first...
I was actually checking out the bigsoccer site the other day and was having a tough time following some of the indepth discussions going on. I figure I'll keep up with it and start to learn about the players and transactions as the season gets going. Any idea if there is a 2007 MLS schedule out...
I am a long time player, all through my youth and now in adulthood in either adult indoor leagues during the colder months and outdoor leagues when its warmer. My biggest sports love is the NFL but I've been looking to focus on something else during the offseason. I haven't really followed MLS...
Wait so let me get this straight...its called a guacamole dip right? And in the ingredients it does list some avocado? Just towards the end meaning there isn't much in it? And this woman is filing a lawsuit because it wasn't avocadoey (love that word by the way) enough? And some people are...
They had shown the same watch on the man in the diner with Hiro and Ando. I assume its the only thing we have to identify sylar with right now. Did anyone completely understand the deal with Mohinder and the kid at the end of the episode? At first I thought the kid was Mohinder at a younger...
I root for House too, and I'm pretty sure I know why....because its a TV show. Its not real. I think its hilarious that the character is so blatantly sarcastic and I find that entertaining. Besides, the show makes him out to be quite the bastard but every once and a while they show some emotion...
I found myself getting pretty excited during the game when Sarecen went in as well. Like has been said...its dramatic football. We know the characters now and have a reason to root for them...which makes the show all the more interesting to me.
Yeah I wasn't thrilled about Voodoo acting that way, but I guess we'll see how it works out. Just makes you root for Saracen more. I think they mentioned that his dad was serving in Iraq but I don't recall them every saying anything about the mom.
This one continues to grab me. I agree that the street side kissing was a little too cliched and all, but it still sort of worked (in a nonsensical sort of way). Loved it when Taylor saw Smash on TV and then the whole night time in the rain practice. Followed up by the whole "Clear heads, full...
That scene definitely stuck out as well as when the coach goes back to the hospital to see the injured QB. The interaction just seems to ring true for me. Like you guys said, its very raw and honest and flows well with the style they have chosen for filming and editing.
Watched the second episode last night and I gotta say, I'm pretty much digging it. I'm a sucker for sports programming and definitely one that involves football, plus I like the coach and the sophmore QB (and his buddy) seem like great characters. So I think I'm in for the long haul, assuming it...
Yeah I found that really disturbing too, seeing as how they hadn't shown that side of his personality before. Maybe its some type of male menopause or something. Kudos to Sarah for getting through the challenge. Plus...enough with all the crying on this show. It always amazes me how much people...
You guys are killing me with all these different actresses. Did Julie Bowen play Jack's wife originally (i.e. past two seasons) or was Sarah recast? I just don't remember her in that role before. Granted we didn't see her all that much previously, but still.
Agreed, this one really sucked me in right away. I loved the movie and am a sucker for sports flicks and shows so this one is a definite for me. It was also able to pull off some nice emotional scenes without being overly sappy. Looking forward to next week for sure.
Ahhh, well that cetainly clears things up :). Boy, could they make it slightly more convoluted in order to do that stuff on the HD tivo? Also kind of funny that their current flag ship unit has no interactive features...oh well. Once I get the HR20 (waiting for local HDs in my area) maybe I'll...
I actually haven't used the eight-on-one-screen channel all that much (which is weird cause I figured that would be a big feature for me), but the couple of times I did flip to it I think I remember some sort of faint music track in the background. Now I usually watch football on my HD Tivo and...
I have the superfan package and am unfortunately a NY Jet fan in Virginia. Last weeks game against Tenn wasn't in HD...big surprise, but this weeks against New England was. Its a little annoying, but sometimes the blurry SD image is good when your team is playing really bad...takes your mind off...
Sorry its been a while since I watched Transformers as a kid, but wasn't megatron the gun? I always thought it was stupid that he would transform into the gun when the crap hit the fan and be fired at someone by another decepticon. Now that doesn't mean I'm a huge fan of the cockroach version...
Man, I can't believe no one has mentioned the A-Team yet... "In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the...
I had a similar type of time related coincedence. Lighting storm knocked out electricity during the night. My alarm clock is this really bright blue light, so once it started flashing it actually woke me up. In that middle of the night half awake/half dazed frame of mind I hit the time set...
Oh duhh (I find myself saying that a lot when it comes to computers)...that sounds like something I definitely didn't do. Makes sense since the shared drives were coming up under each of their respective network folders and not other computers. Sweet...I'll try this out tonight...thanks!
Caught this over the weekend. I went in with slightly lowered expectations based on some early reviews, but I got to say...I really dug it. Yeah, the middle was a little slow while they were building up the Isabella and Crockett relationship, but that was really the only moment I could point...
Hey folks...thanks for all the advice last week. I did pick up a router and got the network up and running. All three computers are running off the internet service without a hitch, so I'm good there. The only thing I'm still a little confused about is how to get all the file sharing to work...
Oh duh...sorry about that. I have Comcast cable internet...not DSL. My bad =). As far as the software thing, the technician ran a setup program with some software he brought and it popped some icons and things like that on the desktop, but I wasn't sure if he could have also installed a driver...
