They're saying fall, so probably October-November. In an interview Soderbergh confirmed the Criterion release and said there will be mountains of extras, including lots of deleted scenes and documentaries.
This would be very cool. I hope they do go ahead with this. Currently the transfers are pretty washed out and lack definition. If they could do a true HD restoration from the original film elements... wow!

I will have to go over this thread and see what's already in my collection. I got a $40 Best Buy card and I'm thinking of picking up a boxset. I have the first Warner Gangsters set, and I'm thinking of getting Vol. 3. Or maybe something else, depending on what I see on the shelves.
