Paramount+ Star Trek: Picard - Season Three

You fail to mention that Paramount and Patrick Stewart have made it very clear that Season 3 is the last, and it is supposed to put a final ending to the TNG adventures.

When will Apple give us a Blu-ray of last year's Oscar-winning CODA?

Apple doesn't seem to be releasing much of anything to disc. I'm still waiting for a video release of "Greyhound", the Tom Hanks film from 2 years ago. It was a co production of Sony and Apple.

    First-run syndication

I don't know, I never looked real hard to see because I'd rather have the series on disc. Of the original cast, Frank Bonner, Gordon Jump and Richard Sanders returned. Tawny Kitaen replaced Loni Anderson. Myklti Williamson replaced Gary Sandy. Howard Hessman return later in it's run. The series...

My series collection. I hate taking photos with a cell phone. Wish I still had my digital camera.

Cast iron and carbon steel cookware: or I'll never trade in convenience for quality (and health) again!

I have lived through using my late mom's Calphalon pans and a cast iron pan I bought, that popped something in my wrist last time I used it. I will stick to my Midnight Infomercial GraniteStone pans I got 2 years ago. I use them to death, I beat on them and all I do is re-season them every 6...

    First-run syndication

The New WKRP in Cincinnati. The show was ignored and maligned by the "true fans", but I found it still very funny.

Press Release Sony to remove users legally purchased movies on PlayStation store

Just another example of why you need to buy physical copies of any film you want to keep. Buying electronic copies anywhere, from anyplace ain't worth the digital bits you used to buy them.

Have you changed your driving habits due to gas prices?

I'm unemployed and drive very, very little. My last tank of gas was last July. I filled up this past week at Costco. I paid for premium about the same as regular at an average gas station.

What was your very first movie on physical media purchase?

Bootleg set of the Starship Yamato (Starblazers) movies from a Japanese video rental shop.

    Doctor, Doctor

Hi. There have been 3 TV series that could make my sides ache from laughing so much, 2 are Barney Miller and WKRP in Cincinnati. The third seems to have disappeared from everywhere. It was Matt Frewer's next series after Max Headroom, Doctor, Doctor. It ran 40 episodes and was really well...

Warner Archives needs to release more films from the 60 's 70's and 80's

All these movies being lamented as not being released by Warner Home Video. Just because it had a Warner Bros. logo at the beginning of the credits, that doesn't mean it is owned by Warner Bros. How many of you actually looked into what of their favorite non-releases are actually WB films, and...

What series do you want so badly you would be willing to pay a premium price?

I find it funny that so many have series on their wish lists that are already available on DVD or Bluray. They just have them listed because the resolution of the current sets aren't to their liking. This is TV and until only recently, most TV shows were filmed at a resolution that, at best, was...

How is this different than the Bluray collection edition I have of the original 6 TOS crew movies?

    TCM Changing September 1 2021 >

I wonder if there may be a clue in the very end of that video. The "TCM" comes down to screen center, then drops off. As it's dropping off, the "C" from the logo comes down by itself, then zooms towards the camera. They don't do excess animation like that for shorts & giggles in a commercial.

Earth to Whoever Is Still With Warner Archives...

I'm bewildered by this thread. I am still getting Warner Archive emails announcing new releases. I got one last week that had the announcement for the 4th Thin Man movie on BluRay. I immediately preordered it in the Warner Shop on Amazon. Everything seems to be releasing just fine and...

Pre-Order Star Trek: The Original 4-Movie Collection (4k UHD Combo) Available for Preorder

Okay, so the only thing different I can see from the Bluray set of the original cast 6 movies I have are that these are all 4K. Everything else seems to be the same. Sorry, I'll pass. The set I have now is perfectly good watching. And it has all 6 movies, not just 4.

WARNER ARCHIVES WBSHOP 4 for $44 Sale March 12, 2021 - March 15, 2021 (Possible Last WbShop ever)

Don't much care about the sales and stuff. I'm more concerned about they restoration and continuing release of older WB films. That's not going away, is it?

Newer shows you like/collect although your main interest is classic TV

In keeping with the subject of just "newer shows" (i.e. the last 20 years), the ones I have are: Elementary Battlestar Galactica remake Sherlock Cosmos (new series) Star Trek Enterprise

What’s left that I’d like on physical media

The Green Hornet Doctor, Doctor (post Max Headroom series for Matt Frewer) Dragnet (revival with Ed O'Neill as Friday) Marblehead Manor (Linda Thorson of The Avenger and Michael Richards pre-Kramer)

Shows you think deserved one more season

I only like about half of the movies in the sets. And of that half, I probably already have 2/3 of them in my library.

What Classic Movies, TV Shows,& Animation would you like to see on Bluray ?

Putting any of these on Bluray is pointless unless they get a digital remastering. Otherwise they will be no better than the DVD release. I know first hand because I bought several Blurays to replace DVD version and found it was exactly the same thing. As for old TV, Bluray is useless. Bluray...

    Ford v Ferrari BluRay Problem

Okay, update. Contacted Fox Home video, they said that there have been no problems reported. Then I went to LG about updates. They said that the BD370 firmware I had was out of date and since I wasn't getting online updates, he would send me the instructions and files to do it manually. He...

    Ford v Ferrari BluRay Problem

Good morning. Thanks for the replies. I hooked the player up to my home network, made sure it saw the internet, then had it check for updates. It said none were available. Left it connected and dropped in Ford v Ferrari (Fox), player locked up. Tried Blade Runner 2049 (Warner) and it played...

    Ford v Ferrari BluRay Problem

Hello, My first post here and its unfortunately about a problem. I bought the basic BluRay version of the movie "Ford v Ferrari" yesterday. I popped it into my LG BluRay player today to watch it. The disc read seemingly okay, it started and the 20th Century Fox logo and music played, then the...
