Is The Candidate coming from Warner Archive?

One of a handful of 70’s films I’ve always wanted to see. Still no release?

Children's Art Instruction show from the 70's

I have no idea how I eventually found this. The show I watched was called the “Draw Man” and featured an instructor named Paul Ringler. I can’t remember how I finally found this! I saw a comment about him on Facebook though & the most positive part for me was I got to tell his daughter how...

Pre-Order The Six Million Dollar Man: The Complete Series (Collector's Edition) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

I bought the Time Life set I guess it was 12 years ago now? Great presentation but I admit I was disappointed in the image quality. I might have to get this eventually.

    Soap operas

Gosh soap were such a part of my childhood. I spent days with my grandmother in the summer & after school and she was a big watcher. I remember the Doctors but her favorite was Another World. Funny story. When I was a kid, there was a particularly grisly storyline about a serial killer who I...

Classic TV show you should be into/couldn’t get into

Just have to throw this out. I have a coworker who’s in his 20’s and LOVES Hogans Heroes. He watches a surprising amount of classic tv now that I think of it. There’s hope!

    Dallas TV show.

    That makes me feel old.

Classic TV show you should be into/couldn’t get into

Some series take time for me to get into. I bought season 1 of the Rockford Files, & watched 1 episode and put it up. Probably 4 years later I grabbed the set off the shelf and got hooked. Had to make myself slow down. Same with the Hill Street Blues. I watched episodes years apart. Now I love...

What Series are you most glad you have on DVD?

My area first got tv land in 1998. At that point, it mostly was a steady diet of Dragnet, Adam-12, & Gunsmoke. Didn’t matter though because I loved watching these shows. Then the channel dropped older programs & I was stuck. In 2010 I started buying dvds. First it was all the shows I remembered...

Request Letters To Stations and Companies

I used to write Tv Land way way back. Never got a response.

    The Adventures of Superman

I was a big Superman fan as a child. I’d discovered him on Sesame Street & the Super Friends. I just loved the character. My mom and I were talking one day and she said when she was a girl, there was an actual Superman on tv. This is 1976 so there was so way to access the 50’s show. Maybe a...

Any word on when The Name Of The Game is being released on DVD?

I watched that episode. I’d never seen the show before. I really liked it but yeah those credits were amazingly long! Kind of mesmerized me for a bit and then I thought “man were still in the opening credits?” I’d definitely buy this though.

Miami Vice- The Complete Series Blu Ray- October 4th

Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle - Warner Press Release Announces 'The Complete Season 1' DVDs!

I’ll have to finally buy this. I pulled up an episode online (shoddy quality) and watched it. It brought back such good memories! Just hearing the music gave me such a warm feeling. I remember going to the beach and swinging on a pole at the pool. The whole time I had that music in my head...

Any word on when The Name Of The Game is being released on DVD?

Well I did watch two episodes this weekend and really loved them. It was YouTube video but gave me an idea what the show was like. Impressive!

    Trapper John MD

I forgot all about this show. I remember watching it occasionally on Sunday night? I didn’t know there wasn’t a release of it yet. I love 70’s medical shows.

The Incredible Hulk complete series Blu-Ray

Just seemed a shame to finally have something that threatens the Hulk and then after 2 episodes have him go back to fighting truck drivers. It would’ve been nice if the alternate Hulk popped up again in the season.

Any word on when The Name Of The Game is being released on DVD?

I’m such a sucker for late 60’s & early 70’s tv. I saw a clip of this years ago and was really looking forward to seeing it one day. Oh well…

The Incredible Hulk complete series Blu-Ray

My biggest annoyance with the series relates to the two parter “The First”. I like nearly everything about the story but you finally have a physical threat for the Hulk and decide , “Yeah 2 episodes is enough. Let’s not overdo it.” I mean that plot could’ve lasted longer to me. Looking...

The Incredible Hulk complete series Blu-Ray

I’ll have to get this. I loved the show growing up. Lost something when they altered Ferrigno’s makeup and Ted Cassidy passed away. Ferrigno also wasn’t as ridiculously huge as in the first season. Still some great episodes later in the series.

Any word on when The Name Of The Game is being released on DVD?

It’s a shame about this show. Be only seen a little bit of it but was really curious to see it. Looked really polished.

DVD Review Hill Street Blues: The Complete Series DVD Review - Recommended

I never watched this series during it’s actual run. Not sure why to be honest. I was in grade school so maybe it just didn’t catch my eye. I bought season 1 maybe two years ago but only watched the first episode. I enjoyed it but never watched further. I decided to pull it out and I’m really...

    Remington Steele on DVD

As an aside, I’d love a soundtrack release for this show. I know it’s unlikely but I really enjoy the music. Very classy.

I’d actually sent them a Facebook message about Six Million Dollar Man & the response I got was “We hope so one day”.

    Remington Steele on DVD

Has there ever been talk of a Blu-ray release? I’ve seen wonders done with shows like Rockford and Miami Vice. I’d love to see an upgrade on this series. I didn’t see season 1 until it was in syndication around 1989 I believe. There’s one episode that has the overlapping dialogue and I...

DVD Review Route 66: The Complete Series DVD Review

Is there a benefit to getting season sets versus the complete series?? I think I’ve seen 1 episode and that was a few years ago. My appreciation for 50’s & 60’s tv shows had grown tremendously of late so I’m always looking for new series. I LOVE Naked City so I have some idea of the quality of...
