Blu-ray Review Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris Blu-ray Review

Nope never released to cd. But, a friend of mine in Nashville (!) transferred this to disc for me some twenty years ago. I'm hanging on to my lp because Joe Masiell signed it with the motto, "aim high."

Pre-Order Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (1975) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

A second chance might be in order. Going from a staged musical revue to a series of musical videos is not an easy proposal, and Brel's deep thoughts and political stances don't always translate to film, yet I think that 90% of what's on the screen is compelling.

Pre-Order Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (1975) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

Someone please, fix the absurd edit on "Timid Freda!" Surely the still-living Elly Stone can allowed be singing, "brave new fuck-you stance" instead of the mangled garbage presented in the film. A precursor to MTV, this film should have a bigger audience - it's by no means perfect, but, to...

USHE Announcement: Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection (Blu-ray)

Here at the local Cinemark, I experienced a better BIRDS than I have ever seen, I can only hope that the blu ray looks this good. For a nearly 50 year old film, filled with process shots and additional animation, this presentation proved that there's been a lot of work done since the last dvd...

GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES on Blu-ray - thoughts?

I agree one hundred percent! Bought all five at Wal*mart, and have only checked out this and THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS (I have a weak spot for Johnny Ray) and I have never seen GPB looking or sounding better. I still wish that FOX had included the deleted numbers from both of...

Blu-ray Review Home on the Range Blu-ray Review

Sold! I cry everytime I hear the Bonnie Raitt song. Thanks for the positive review; I'm one of the fans of the flick. Did you know that Jason Graae is one of the villainous sidekicks? He autographed my cd. . .
