    Yeah, I don't generally care too much about short delays. I think my last order with Kino had 2-3 titles that were out of stock. It seems like it only added an extra week or so in the end.

    There have been instances in the past where the Insider said they licensed a block of films and their agreement with the studio is to release them all. I'd imagine some of them have less than ideal transfers, but they don't have much choice if it's in the contract that they release what they're...

    I imagine if you order a disc for which they have Region A rights only, they will not ship it outside Region A.

    As noted in the Sangaree thread, some of the 3D blu-rays seem to be going out of print, so you should probably get those sooner than later if you want them. But I always remind folks what an awful film A*P*E is, regardless of how many dimensions they added.

    I watched Chamber of Horrors (1940) this weekend. It was watchable, but there was a lot of dirt and damage and missing frames. At some point a hair or something was on the bottom of screen for about 10-20 seconds. I'm kind of surprised Kino even released it, looking as it does.

    I think that's certainly warranted. The reviewer was right and Kino took offense when others were posting the truth about their recycled master.

    I ordered from Kino on the 14th and just got a message yesterday (25th) that it's "approved for packing". I placed an order with Deep Discount on the morning of the 23rd, and had a shipping notice by the afternoon of the same day.
