Bumping this for a couple of points.
- War for the Planet of the Apes is still the reigning Atmos home track
- Blade Runner 2049 give war a run for the money with deep and sustained bass, but War beats it on Atmospherics
- Do NOT discount Cabin in the Woods because it is 'just' a horror movie...
Just a heads up that the mods and owners give a thumbs up on Aran posting his survey here. As always such endorsement is with the caution to not share any info you arent comfortable with, and if you have any concerns we might not be aware of please PM me or email [email protected] and...
OK so at this point has anyone got everything? Upgraded Receiver, 4 or more height speakers or bounce speakers and Transformers? What time should I be there?
No, there was no buzzing. I've got similar issues with glass windows in my family room so I pick up on that pretty readily. The height effect worked fine, my biggest issue was the lack of bass so the whole thing sounded a bit flat.

Back from Vegas, hope to get my NYC pictures processed and posted tonight.Agree with Ron, the upfiring speakers didn't fool us in NYC, I enjoyed the full speaker experience tho and am convinced that it will be a worthy addition to a properly calibrated home system.
Can't wait to hear this for myself! I've been a huge proponent of Atmos in the theater and VERY frustrated with the slow rollout of new places on the east coast to catch Atmos films (I still have to drive 90 miles each way to go to one!) so anything that brings it to more places is aces in my book!
