I thought it was mostly called the "Extended Cut". Ron used "Director's Cut", but we know which version he meant.

So, his lack of involvement doesn't affect which film version I preferred.

I know some other poster(s) mentioned on the forum in another thread, but I did noticed recently that some of my Disney digital purchases from iTunes or Vudu are earning me Disney Movie Insider points.

Guys, Those of you that uses their Roku unit for Vudu need to check it out as Vudu got a new look.

I bought this earlier this week and they're all MA. However, Vudu for some reason doesn't have the first film (Unrated) version in 4K, only in HD. Other than that, all the movies are in 4K on both digital services with the first movie being in 4K (Unrated) on iTunes and MA.

He made a lot of movies after spending too much of his fortune and having a former manager blow some of it. I wonder how many people realize his real last name is Coppola? Yes, those Coppolas with uncle Francis Ford and auntie Talia Shire.

I’m not a fan of that movie.

By the way, some of those HD digitals look better than others. Obviously, some are derived from older scans probably used for their DVD releases.

I've been waiting on "The Man from Colorado" for a good while now. I'm glad I was patient enough to wait on this price drop. Glenn Ford and William Holden in another western together. Another one on my wait list was "Three Hours to Kill". Some of these Columbia westerns I already had in my...

In the States, it has never been in 4K on iTunes, however, it does playback in 4K/Dolby Vision using the Vudu app on AppleTV unit. Of course, it's in 4K/Dolby Vision on Vudu using my Roku unit. That must be in Canada because it's not available in the States on Disney+ on neither my Roku or...

That's just how iTunes list their titles. If you buy the bundle, those titles in 4K will be in 4K.

It wasn't a Vudu interface I was familiar with because I don't access Vudu that way. You learn something new everyday in this hobby of ours.

No big deal, I apologize for not knowing he was using the Vudu app on AppleTV instead of accessing Vudu through a Roku unit. My comments weren't meant to be taken personally, but trying to fully understand how that stream is in HD, when you still can't purchase it on Vudu or iTunes.

Just so I'm being clear here. Usually, when I verify a movie using Vudu, I access that app through my Roku unit. When I verify a movie using iTunes, I access that app through my AppleTV unit. With that said, I found the following: I have over 30 titles, mostly Warner, that I purchased on...

I just checked The Lost Boys on Vudu and iTunes, they have identical opening logos. Can anybody else confirm what I’m seeing?

That doesn’t look like the Vudu interface, but the Apple TV+ one. Also, the HDX option is still unavailable for purchase on Vudu.

Yeah, but is it actually playing back in HDX? I have several digitals on Vudu that say I own them in HDX, but when I actually play them back, they're still in SD.

Just remember, unless WA has changed their policy, if it does upgrade to HDX, the digital won't be derived from that element used for that WA Blu-ray.

You do realize that Spencer's Mountain was a Warner Archive Blu-ray release? Which means that HDX on Vudu is not derived from that scan used for that 2017 Blu-ray. Edit: I just checked Vudu's site and they're showing nothing, but the SD stream for $9.99.

From iTunes, I purchased "Fright" and "Fear in the Night" for $4.99 each. I'm thinking of doing the same for "Fanny" for $6.99.
