Paint Your Wagon would be a day of release purchase for me!

That ~$5 version is the Legend release - the one from Olive is ~$22.

Olive released a BD of that one: And there are at least 2 DVD releases - one from Legend and another from Olive.

Lisa and the Devil/House of Exorcism shows "Currently unavailable." Is this something that'll be fixed or is it truly OOS?

I, too, purchased this release of "Jaunty" - mainly for Houdini. "Jaunty" is good but not nearly as good as The Great Race. "Jaunty" has more of a nostalgic appeal to me as I first saw it as a kid *after* seeing "Flying Machines." IIRC its main influence was the cartoon "Wacky Races" being...

I, too, am not much of a Martha Raye fan (I generally find her abrasive and annoying). Still... a "bad" Bob Hope movie is still pretty good, even those things he made in the 60s (though I tend to rank those at the very bottom of his work - not so much his fault as the fault of the scripts)...

    I'll take all of those...

Mine does not - I do the ordering, she then wraps them and puts them under the tree from her to me. :)

By using the word "Sets" I doubt it as Kino has not released any "sets" of Hope films either. They've all been released singly - even the "Road" films. Granted, there are dozens of sets of Hope films - I have far more than my fair share as you'd often have to purchase yet another set just to...

There have been at least 4 Bing Crosby collections released on DVD: And two small ones with each having a selection of films from both those above sets: None of those contain the "Road" films he made with Bob Hope.

That saves me lots of time... I mostly purchase comedy and SF.

I read on another forum that The Hunchback of Notre Dame is OOS for the moment - that'd hold up an order for sure since KINO only ships when everything is available.

The print that's on Amazon looks pretty good. A bit soft at times but color is just fine. I purchased it with "slow shipping credits" ~3 years ago when the only thing available was the MGM MOD.

With both of our posts quoted, I *think* the reply was to both my post about Bob Hope's Nothing but the Truth and yours about O.S.S. with an intended break after the first sentence - like this: About O.S.S.: About Nothing But the Truth: I had to read it a few times to get this...

Thanks for the explanation! I understand the situation but it's disappointing.

Has there been any more word on a fix for the missing bits in Bob Hope's Nothing But the Truth?

I get that - but what part of that sequence is missing? Removing that *one* scene creates a bad jump cut. There's no way around that with that single scene removed. Do they remove the entire sequence from just before the guy comes in from the other room until the cut to Goddard and in her...

    Your thoughts on Kino-Lorber Blu-rays

What, exactly, is missing? I pulled one of my DVD copies and don't see anything that'd truly be missed if cut properly. They start to pull his pants off. Cut to one of them coming in from a side room with a handful of clothing "Hey, I've got his clothes!" then begins putting them in a...

This was posted in another thread here with indications it came from the Kino Facebook page. I'm asking if it's legit as the email address doesn't match anything on the Kino site: Thanks!

While I'd not exactly call it a "snafu" I do find it a bit annoying. If you are looking for a specific episode the only way to locate it is to: a. Count the episodes from the front and correlate that to a disc. b. Write in the disc number in the large amount of empty space where it could have...
