Isn't that just Dark Mode? I'm running Dark Mode right now and the menu bar is black (admittedly I run a dark background too so the top of the background image is black). If I had a notch right now (I don't, on an original M1 MBP) I wouldn't be able to see it. Before you buy and pay for that...

The way I constantly bring my laptop around to various places in both my home and outside to do recording, the additional 1 1/2 lbs adds up very quickly. My mindset has been transformed from "ugh, do I really want to bother lugging this out" to "why wouldn't I bring this portable little thing?"...

I understand for those doing photog and video stuff the new MBPs are bringing desperately needed horsepower and RAM. For me, I think Apple may have done a little "too good" of a job on the M1. Logic Pro, running with many tracks and effects, runs seamlessly on my M1 13" MBP with 16GB of RAM. As...
