It's got a great cast. For me, 'twas Ann Harding that sold me. I'll watch her in anything. For lagniappe, you get Joan Blondell, Randolph Scott, the Georges Brent and Raft. I liked it.

Re: Two for the Road: Great closing lines. The editing is full of visual puns that are very New Wave. They still feel very fresh and inventive. William Daniels and Eleanor Bron in a hilarious supporting storyline with a brat from hell who is a living ad for birth control. A young Jacqueline...

I never tire of watching it. The acting is superb; the writing is pithy; the music is unforgettable; the editing is razor sharp. It's a portrait of a couple, on the road, for about 10 years. I always laugh and I always cry. A Donen masterpiece. I saw it when it came out. I was 17, and fell in...

Maybe the person was confused after watching the opera composed by Andre Previn, starring Renee Fleming? Not a WB release, though.

The box set is essential for all the fascinating extras included. However, if you're not willing to pay the current price of $49.99, I'd still urge to buy all 3 films. The first time I saw Europa '51 at the NYFF, it shattered me. Bergman's performance as a modern saint is simply heartbreaking...

Watched the superb Arrow transfer last night. 4K from the negative. The disc is not 4K. The film is terrific indeed.

I saw the play off-B'way with Michael Shannon. First time I saw the man (all of him). Unforgettable experience. He has since become one of my favorite actors for his raw, courageous performances.

There's a Batman 4-Film deal for $14.99 in iTunes. It states that the films are 4K, but when you try to buy the bundle, it states films are HD. Can anyone verify which is true?

So I did see HONDO in 3D in its OAR of 1.85! However, @Robert Crawford , I remember returning the BD because it was flat and not 3D even though Gretchen Wayne owned the DCP that I'd just watched. Paramount was not interested in using her master.

HUD also has Patricia Neal's Oscar-winning performance (although she has more of a supporting part), and Melvyn Douglas also won a Supporting Oscar. James Wong Howe won for his excellent B&W cinematography. So this film is no slouch. I saw it when it came out and later on in NYC in a gorgeous...

I saw this film when it came out and left the theater in a state of shock. Keep in mind I was a teenager at the time. Steiger's best performance by far. It also stars two of my favorite leading ladies: Geraldine Fitzgerald and Julie Harris. They could do no wrong.

The Furies is another film that I got to see in an archive 35mm print provided by MGM. Stunning presentation. Somewhat warped story, isn't it? Loved it.
