Gale Sondergaard is in this film as well as a couple other Hope films. Always great to see her.

If you are a fan of Bob Hope, you'll enjoy it. It isn't one of the best, but still enjoyable and has some laughs.

That Darlene Tompkins is the best thing in that film :) But overall the film is still pretty good sci-fi too.

I believe the first is still owned by Paramount.

I will probably pick up several titles of interest. I didn't see quite as many I liked as previous sales. I am sure some more recent or new ones will be included in the next sales later this year.

That is all we can really ask. Kino has done a remarkable job giving us so many good classic titles. Some I never thought would ever get released for home video. If you want them to continue putting out these titles, especially the B ones, please keep buying them. Sales do matter.

I remember seeing "O.S.S." sometime in the early 1990s on the CBC affiliate CBLT in Toronto. I remember that particular week they also aired "In The Navy" with Abbott & Costello and the 1932 version of "Law And Order" with Walter Huston. Now that would be a great title for release on blu. It...

I had a chance to view the blu of Sleeping City from one of the Film Noir collections. Unfortunately it has the same audio problems as the DVD. The sound has the tunnel effect throughout. The picture quality is quite good, but the sound issues make it harder to enjoy. Kino probably couldn't do...

If you really like Bob Hope, I would get at least a couple of those. The Western Classics is good too. I highly recommend Witness For The Prosecution. An excellent film with an outstanding cast. Those are just my suggestions. Others may suggest some other titles.

All worthy titles here. I might add I Was A Shoplifter(1950). Tony Curtis has a supporting role(billed as Anthony Curtis).

I am wondering about that too. It would be nice if replacement discs could be issued, but since it is such a small segment of the movie, Kino might not want to bother. It may not be possible either if that is what was provided to them.

More Tony Curtis 50s titles from Universal-International would be welcomed. There are still plenty of good unreleased ones.
