In fairness to you, the subject matter of AppleTV 4K settings has been discussed in numerous threads over the last three years or so.

I'm not going to defend Apple on why they did, what they did because frankly, I don't understand their reasoning. However, I will say that if you turn DV "on" now then you get DV activated for everything including non-4K movies/shows and even your menu that appears on your AppleTV unit.

What's funny is that when I use the ATV+ app on my iPhone and iPad, my libraries are present on those mobile devices. I think this problem is more widespread than it appears to be, but due to people still being able to access their library through iTunes, not a lot of people are complaining...

What's funny is that I have a third ATV4K unit hooked up in my bedroom to a non-4K setup and I can see my digital library on the ATV+ app. I can't view my 4K library because the TV and receiver aren't 4K, but at least I can view my digital library. I might move that unit to one of my 4K setups.

Don't get me started about their ATV+ app. That app keeps telling me I don't have any movies or tv shows in my library.

I think it was TonyD that stated that on his 1080p display in which he has an Atmos setup, he couldn't get Atmos on his AppleTV 4K unit. Perhaps, I'm mis-remembering. @TonyD

Tino just to clarify, you're not getting Vudu in 4K along with not getting Netflix 4K on this second generation ATV4K unit? The same with your first generation 4K unit too?

I have to agree with you there!

Because I knew people with similar Netflix account issues and ended up cancelling their subscription because of it. After a year they started their subscription again and those 4K playback issues disappeared.

If it's an Apple issue than how come it's not more widespread?

Tino had this problem with multiple ATV units including a first generation one so I don't think the odds that all of them are defective is great. I'm with your thinking that I think it has to do with his service being downgraded somehow.

The issue with the CheapCharts app not working is tied to this new Beta software update 15.0. I don't have that issue with my other ATV4K units that don't have Beta turned on.

By the way, it looks like CheapCharts app is having some issues with tvOS.
