Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

Looking at the site that lists forthcoming German Blu-ray releases, I see that Mackenna's Gold (1969) is being released on January 21st. it's a Mediabook & standard release. I don't know if it's a new transfer or not, but even if it isn't, at least it won't have forced subs like the French...

Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

Koch released The Last Wagon in Germany (I don't know what it was like, I never bought it), but it's deleted & going for a few bob from 3rd party sellers now (& being a Fox film, it's now safely locked in Disney's vault). I'd just love a good looking Blu-ray of The Big Sky, but I suppose that...

Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

Well as I've posted (I think I have, I can't be bothered to check) Paint Your Wagon would be absolutely nothing without Lee Marvin, he's brilliant, I even like his singing. Clint Eastwood makes no impression at all, & Jean Seberg seems somehow miscast (but I think that Diana Rigg who was going...

Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

Yeah, I'd forgotten all about Paint Your Wagon. I didn't fancy it at the time, but a couple of years ago I thought I'd give it a go (DVD) & I loved it (but it would be nothing without Lee Marvin). It has Paramount Presents written all over it, surely next year...

Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

I put this news in the streaming forum (to answer a question), but it's much better here. It's been reported that a UHD (plus Blu-ray) Media Book edition will be released in Germany next year (no date yet), I don't think the specs are right, as the English track wouldn't be mono. It's 2:35, so...

Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

I think that's the French release & it does state region B on the back (which could be wrong). The UK Blu looks to be multi-region.

Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

It looks like Little Big Man (1970) is OOP in America (although you can buy it cheap enough in Europe s/h). I hope that means it's getting a nice new transfer, maybe even a Paramount Presents release, it certainly deserves it.

Which Classic Westerns would you like to see Remastered to Blu-Ray?

There must be thousands of westerns, & westerns are the films I get the biggest kick out of owning. A few wanted titles off the top of my head: The Phantom Empire (1935) serial Zorro's Fighting Legion (1938) serial They Died With Their Boots On (1941) 3 Godfathers (1948) The Big Sky (1952)...
