It is available to convert from DVD to SD digital. And it looks like the resource I was looking at earlier might not quite be up to date. I think it's possible to scan the DVD bar code and pay $5 to get HDX.

But the important part of the listing is here: There's no HDX option to buy (or rent). Sometimes, a movie that's normally SD-only might be available in HDX via disc-to-digital. From what I'm seeing from my usual sources of this kind of information, I don't see any evidence that this is...

Also on sale at Vudu. I bit on TOS at $25 there. I waffled for a bit as I have several options to watch it on subscription services, but figured that Paramount would start pulling it back to their own service. Kind of funny that I saw the news about the Star Trek license with Amazon Prime...

You never actually buy through MA. Link all the necessary accounts, buy a movie, get an e-mail and/or notification with a link and/or code.

Movies Anywhere is doing their "biggest offer ever" for the next week or so, where if you purchase a movie from any of the studios, you can get a free one from a limited set of choices. So if you buy a WB movie, you have 4 or 5 WB movies to choose from. If you buy a Disney movie, you get a...

DId you have both accounts linked to Ultraviolet at any point? That's how I got a few series showing up in FN.

The only version of Disc to Digital that works anymore is scanning the UPC on a mobile device. Looking at some of the lists available online, Duck Soup is the only one of the films available on D2D, and only by virtue of scanning a DVD UPC, thus costing $5 for a HD copy.

Disc to Digital still works. However it doesn't get along as well with Apple products. I think you have to go through the website on a browser there instead of the actual app. Disney isn't part of it, and the majority of Fox titles have been taken out of it too. So the selection is going...

My goal is to have my digital collection match my physical collection as closely as possible. So if I have a disc that didn't come with a code, I'll hunt the digital copy down. But....I prefer not to use real money for digital. Most of what I buy digitally is via giftcards that I obtain by...

That's more the fault of Paramount for not joining MA.

Because the original announcements about the sale as a whole said "Starting at $4.99".
