...and on top of it all, she's one hell of a talented singer. The sequel simply has infinitely more talented singers in the cast. The original was a little painful in that aspect, aside from Amanda. In fact, it's the only time I've ever thought Meryl Streep was poorly cast.
Regarding my previous post, just be aware that Voyager and Deep Space Nine are NOT HD. TOS, The Next Generation and Enterprise (which is only four seasons) are the only ones in HD.
I can’t get anything to process through Apple this evening. Anyone else?
EDIT: I've checked everything. Apple just won't process anything for me. I have a CC payment portal for work and did an authorization on my card to absolutely assure that there is no problem, and it went just fine.

Do you suppose he got better as he got older? I really don't watch many old movies anymore and I can't say I recall seeing him as a young man. I haven't seen Two for the Road, which seems to be the highest regarded movie from his younger days.
I wasn't referring to what's a passion of his or not. That statement refers more to the style of the film. Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet, for example, are "David Lynch Movies". The Straight Story and The Elephant Man are movies made by David Lynch. It's just a saying I have and not...
I hear that a lot. I played it for a woman I was involved with when it came out, and when it was over she said, only half kidding... "What kind of sick, snuff flick was that!?!" All the same, it is absolutely one of my favorites of the 21st Century. I guess I'm messed up that way. It is too...
Thanks for the head's up on Moonlight Mile and Insomnia. I agree that MM isn't likely to go 4K, but odds of Insomnia are probably decent, at some point.
I've been trying to really scale back on purchases, considering all the stuff I have that I don't watch plus all the streaming that's available these days, but I did pick up a couple horror(ish) flicks I like. Session 9 and eXistenZ. I don't think Session 9 has ever been available on BR and I...
I tend to weigh what the movie is. If it's a drama then fine, I'll go with the 4K stream, but an action movie like Robocop I want the HD soundtrack, so I'll generally wait for the disc.
Now that I'm at a computer and can type with a real keyboard. So many highly recommended films for $5.
Far From Heaven, like I said
The Shape of Water (4K)
A Very Long Engagement
Atonement
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Ride With The Devil
Cinema Paradiso
Lost In Translation
Pride &...
On this topic, I find I largely am buying streams of stuff that's never made it to BR and probably never will. It's been nice to upgrade a lot of movies, for $5 most of the time. That and TV shows, which are just easier to watch on streams, since it remembers where you are.
I see several TT titles on sale for $5.
Some nice movies at $5 today. Several Cronenbergs, and the non-Criterion ones are $5. Sicario, which is the most highly recommended, in glorious 4K HDR Atmos. Mud is quite good. Now I've forgotten some of the others.
