Regarding my previous post, just be aware that Voyager and Deep Space Nine are NOT HD. TOS, The Next Generation and Enterprise (which is only four seasons) are the only ones in HD.

Several of the ST series are $30 each, as they are $20 per season. It is tempting, even if you have the discs.

Do you suppose he got better as he got older? I really don't watch many old movies anymore and I can't say I recall seeing him as a young man. I haven't seen Two for the Road, which seems to be the highest regarded movie from his younger days.

I tend to weigh what the movie is. If it's a drama then fine, I'll go with the 4K stream, but an action movie like Robocop I want the HD soundtrack, so I'll generally wait for the disc.

Personally, this week is a wealth of $5 riches. So many great movies. Far From Heaven is most highly recommended.

On this topic, I find I largely am buying streams of stuff that's never made it to BR and probably never will. It's been nice to upgrade a lot of movies, for $5 most of the time. That and TV shows, which are just easier to watch on streams, since it remembers where you are.

BTW Lantana is an underrated little Australian murder mystery. $5

I also got the Branagh Hamlet for $5 hoping for 4K some day. It’s 65mm, so it really should get a 4K upgrade some time.

I see several TT titles on sale for $5. Some nice movies at $5 today. Several Cronenbergs, and the non-Criterion ones are $5. Sicario, which is the most highly recommended, in glorious 4K HDR Atmos. Mud is quite good. Now I've forgotten some of the others.
