    I'm aware of this deal, but nothing here states explicitly that it included library titles. Fox did have some overseas distribution rights, but I have seen nothing anywhere to suggest Warners no longer owns the film.

    Haven't seen SUPPOSE in ages, but I remember it as being a real surprise--a lot tougher than the fluffy comedy that the marketing suggested. I hope you'll like it as well.

    Criterion owns the IP. The Paramounts are mostly PD, STRIKES BACK is co-owned with Fox (well, Disney), MGM owns the '29 Goldwyn production and Universal owns the two late ones with Richard Johnson.

    Let's not kid ourselves. If Ladd is known for anything these days to people under 40, it's SHANE. The rest of it is just one big B&W blur. We should be grateful to Kino for putting any of these out, because it's a certainty that Universal wouldn't.

    Sony did the restoration, but Warners still owns the elements. I believe it was done as a favor.
