Blu-ray Review Wonder Woman: The Complete Collection Blu-ray Review

Some sets do have the credit. It was corrected midway through the pressing. Contact WB to see if you can get a replacement. Mine has the credit. I contacted them in May about it missing on the digital versions, and they fixed the blu rays.

Blu-ray Review Wonder Woman: The Complete Collection Blu-ray Review

My theory about the audio glitch: It was a reel change error. The extra word was supposed to be excised in the lab, but was left in by mistake, causing a repeat (similar to The Wizard of Oz error that WB corrected.) It is exactly 2 seconds before the end of the shot (the same amount of time for...

    Next Hanna-Barbera set?

I thought maybe The Yogi Bear Show would be next, since it is 60 years old. But, maybe they are looking for elements.

A Few Words About A few words about…™ The War of the Worlds (1953) – in Blu-ray

CHACE did the stereo remix back then, and also collapsed it back to mono. Who knows what elements they used, or what changes they made to the music. I trust Paramount on this, and believe we are hearing the original mono with no changes.

A Few Words About A few words about…™ The War of the Worlds (1953) – in Blu-ray

I've seen reports that the opening credits music is incorrect on both tracks, compared to previous releases. I don't know how accurate this is.

    FLINTSTONES ON BLU-RAY

I believe this to be the best sitcom ever made. It also is sometimes slightly eerie (in a good way.) I think it is the sitcom standard, of all time.

    Classic TV Westerns

Thanks, everyone. I pretty much added all suggestions to my shopping cart. I will probably get going on them next year. This year, I will continue Bonanza, The Wild Wild West, and start on The Rifleman. I am getting the Gunsmoke Complete Series set for Christmas, so I will tackle that next year too.

    Classic TV Westerns

I never thought I could watch a huge series, but when I got through "Dark Shadows" at a lightning pace, I knew I could do it.

    Classic TV Westerns

I always avoided collecting this genre for some reason. I only had "The Big Valley" and "The Loner." I am now collecting "Bonanza" and "The Wild, Wild West." I don't need every western ever made, but I would like some opinions as to what I should have in my collection to make it well-rounded. I...

The War of the Worlds (1953) possible Blu-ray release?

If the wires were seen in dye transfer in 1953, does that also mean that the wires were seen in The Wizard of Oz in 1939? Or had film stocks gotten better by the time WotW was produced?

    Shazam! (1974-77) gets restoration

I just want to have it complete and don't want to buy both sets if the bumpers are the exact same.

    Shazam! (1974-77) gets restoration

I think they mean it was a different line reading.

    Shazam! (1974-77) gets restoration

Someone on Amazon said that the bumper announcer voice was different in Seasons 2 and 3 on DVD, but the same on blu. Any idea why?

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

After the "I've Got a Golden Ticket" song, all 1996-current releases cut a line. On vhs, Mrs. Bucket yells "Wait! Stop!" The WAIT! is missing on the stereo mix. Does anyone know if this is actually correct, or did that line appear before the vhs?

    The New, Original Wonder Woman

The Deadly Dolphin was cut on dvd by several minutes. It was complete on vhs. Another reason why they should go back to the original masters.

    The New, Original Wonder Woman

The original animated opening included a bullets and bracelets panel, instead of the lasso. The title was THE NEW, ORIGINAL WONDER WOMAN for the first three specials. It was changed to WONDER WOMAN for the series. If WB would go back to the original broadcast masters, it would be, well...

    The New, Original Wonder Woman

I wish WB would release the first three episodes of WW under their original title on Blu-ray. They were ABC specials before it went to series. The pilot was available in two cuts: one more serious in tone. The animated opening was also slightly different.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Gone with the Wind -- in Blu-ray

You have to look at the top of the screen at the start of the pullback. You can't see Tara until top of the background rolls up.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Gone with the Wind -- in Blu-ray

So, even if they lifted that shot in 1954, they would have placed the titles exactly where they were in the frame in the 1939 U.S. release?

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Gone with the Wind -- in Blu-ray

In 1954, they took the original shot and moved it up one sprocket hole, cropping the top of the final shot. I was wondering if the text was originally higher up on the tree.

A Few Words About A few words about...™ Gone with the Wind -- in Blu-ray

But the restoration team said that shots with text were recomposited. That is one of the shots, but I didn't know if they just lifted it like the other shots or repositioned the title on the frame. If the shot originally had more of the tree at the top, then the way it is now, THE END would have...
