Small(ish) multipurpose amp for outdoor application

I apologize, I should have probably been a bit more detailed... Lol There will be multiple places around the farm where we want outdoor music. Only a few of them will require Bluetooth - for example one that is stationed a a picnic table where kids attending riding camp can use during lunch...

Small(ish) multipurpose amp for outdoor application

Yes the case is vented, I just added the link as an example - they customize those enclosures (for a cost of course.. lol) I would say $200 would be the max I could spend per amp, so I am willing to consider other options than Pyle if there are any in that range?

Small(ish) multipurpose amp for outdoor application

Hello all! I'm looking for recommendations for a powered amp for powering outdoor speakers. The amp will be housed in a vented "polycase" (for an example: https://www.polycase.com/yh-141206). I found one on Amazon that meets most of my desired capabilities (has bluetooth, aux input, but...

Problems with my projector (Panasonic PT-AX100U)

Hello! I have two problems with my Panasonic. The first has been going on forever (ie, a couple of years probably), the second is kind of new. 1. Occasionally, the projector simply won't turn on. I push the button, the fan starts, but the light bulb never turns on. Eventually the...

Looking for a small HDTV, between 7-11 inches

It looks like the smallest one with an HDMI input on the B & H web site is 15 inches? Greg, that one looks perfect but it is $75 more than the 15 inch colby (ie, the smallest with HDMI input that I've found) on amazon.. maybe because it's a touchscreen? Thanks guys! I'm still looking for...

Looking for a small HDTV, between 7-11 inches

Hello htf! I have been looking for a widescreen HDTV with hdmi input, basically anywhere from 7 to 11 inches. I want to mount it outside the door of my theater room, with a "now showing" sign above it. I have a remodeler finishing the remainder of my basement so this is a good time to do this...

Help configuring HDMI source with HK645

Hi, I just purchased a Panasonic AEU900U projector and HK645 receiver. I run Comcast digital cable box via RGB to the Video 1 input on the receiver. The receiver has the HDMI out connected to the projector. But I can't get any signal when I select the HDMI source on the projector. I thought the...

I'm looking for our first DV camera. It will be mostly used for our kids sporting events and the like, so I'd like it to be good for outdoor video. Price range of $500 or so. What should I be looking for? Thanks! Mike

Good websites showing golf swing form?

My new job reqires me to get more serious about golf. I've just been a 1-2 times a year player, although I take my kids to a family-oriented driving range probably once a week or so in the summer. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could point me to good websites with demos of proper swing form...

Adding brightness to a mpg file?

Do you have windows XP, with Windows Movie Maker? Might be a cheap (free) way to do it there.. I've used it a lot, lots of cool special effects you can apply to kids movies, I'm sure "brighten" is probably one! :-)

Any SQL and/or MS Access wizard out there?

Okay, just in case anyone is interested, I have a better understanding of what I need to do. I am trying to write a little VB.Net app to do it, reading in each line and the like, since it is already sorted, but I do think it should be doable in an Access module easier...

Any SQL and/or MS Access wizard out there?

Hey, just wanted to thank you for the response.. I didn't get a chance to look at it today, I'll give it a shot tomorrow... Hometheaterforum is blocked at my new job! Oh well, it's a great job otherwise. First time I even noticed the filter, but I'm not the surf-at-work type... :-)

Any SQL and/or MS Access wizard out there?

I have a little task that I need to accomplish, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I have the following database structure (this is just a small part of the data, just dummy stuff since the real stuff has health care provider info in it): ProviderNumber ProviderName 900404 Windows Test 1...

question about mounting resilient channel on ceiling

Thanks again Travis. I will contact them and see what they say.. I was thinking about "remanufacturing" the RC-8 by bending the little tab at the top and screwing through both sides, it would be easy enough but I was afraid I'd lose the benefit of even HAVING RC if I did that.. I'll let you know...

question about mounting resilient channel on ceiling

Ahh, so I bought the wrong kind for what I wanted to do! The truesoundcontrol article for Auralex RC-8 says that the product is for walls or ceilings, it didn't specify that I needed a different product for ceilings... Now I have to figure out how to break the news to my wife! haha... Or...

question about mounting resilient channel on ceiling

Travis, Thanks for the reply... I'm trying to figure out your ascii art, I think I get it but I understand it's a tough one to draw... If you look at this image, could I just simply "rotate" this in my head and pretend that the stud is acually a joist? It seems like the RC will have a...

question about mounting resilient channel on ceiling

I bought a case of Auralex RC-8 Resilient Channel, but it didn't come with any instructions for mounting on the ceiling. Here is the instructions that are on the website: http://truesoundcontrol.com/products/RC824.html Does anyone have any close-up pictures of mounting this stuff on the...

UGH ! Water damage in basement theater.

This is probably the key, IMHO... Grade so there is a slope away from the house as far as you can, 10 feet is great... I built a slope away from my house, put heavy landscaping plastic on the slope, then mulch. Worked amazingly well, no water drains against my foundation anywhere and zero water...

Anyone have a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner?

I run my yellow dyson over tile and cherry hardwood to pick up dog hair, does fine.. As stated above, it doesn't replace the need for a wet mop to clean up the mud she tracks into the house... I was worried that these were the Bose of vacuum cleaners, but it really is a great performing piece...

Anyone have a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner?

100% agreement on loving my Dyson. We have the yellow one as well, by far the best vacuum I've ever owned. I never have a problem with dust escaping while emptying it, I just go out on the back deck and empty it directly into a trash bag... It is amazing how much it picks up!
