Review for UK Paramount release of 'Rosemary's Baby'...
Occasionally can be picked up for around 6-7 UK pounds. That's what I paid for it- seems to be identical to Criterion, just no extras.
Many Criterion releases have been released at a fraction of the price overseas by other labels- with the same transfer as the Criterion... just missing the extras.
Paramount released "Rosemary's Baby" years ago in the UK I got it myself for 6 UK pounds.

Just fyi, the UK 20th Century Fox 4K UHD disc has a different transfer vs. the US Paramount disc. That could make for a more interesting comparison. I have the UK release and the colors are much more vibrant. Some people prefer the more muted colors on the US Paramount release.
The latest restored version with the improved video quality is the '55th Anniversary Restored Edition'...at least here in the UK and Ireland. I also believe there may be a 4K UHD version being released soon- should be spectacular!

Wow! Fantastic Cees!!- I am so happy the bluray is of good quality. Since there is no physical 4K UHD disc of this on the horizon (or is there?) I will go ahead and buy this shortly. In my opinion, a very well done bluray can still look excellent compared to 4K UHD discs...I'd go as far as...
Well 3 years later I have an answer for you! These 2 films were restored in 2017 and you can buy them both in a lovely boxset from Amazon France...they are both region A,B,C
Although I have been a little critical of this movie, and Get Out...I did find both had a unique style to them and some original elements which I liked.
Not of fan of either movie really...but I am interested to see what the director comes up with in the future.
I went to watch this at the cinema while my car was across the street getting an oil change. Knew nothing about it except the flick was starting at the right time for me. During the film people were laughing out loud at parts of it...I couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be a horror film...
