Thanks for all the replies. I figured out how to turn off the internal tuner and my external one is apparently HDTV compat so I pick up a couple of more local channels now. Need to put one in the attic now.

Sony mainly does LCD so that would limit you to a rear projection LCD unit. Are you getting a huge discount off of one? I assume thats why your sticking with Sony?

I recommend you go to AVS forum(If you already haven't).......Kevin have you ever seen a toshiba LCD? Many people who actually own the brands you are looking for can offer opinions or pros/cons to each set over there. I really like the new westinghouse 32 LCD at bestbuy it has a great picture...

Just an update. I emailed them twice with no response asking if they would allow me to use paypal since it has price protection vs. the company they use. Well they never responded so I am guessing the company is sketchy. Anyway figured i'd let you all know.

32" Westinghouse LCD tv on sale today for $999 if you can find any 10% off BB coupon that would drop the price down also. Just letting you know. Also if you have a CompUSA near you they have the 26" Syntax Olevia HVX LCD TV on sale today for $499. Thats a pretty damn good deal too.
