I'm not a big fan of double dipping, but I decided to pick up the dredd 4K steelbook from Walmart, which has a 3D encode of the film on the included BD.
Okay, I'll have to check back closer to the time of release to compare. I had only compared the preorder price. As of now, there is an extra $14 to checkout through Amazon.
I have some Amazon credits that I wanted to use, so it looks like I'm going to get it from one of the third party sellers (before they're all gone hopefully).
Amacon canceled my order for Robot Monster due to no availability. Guess I'm gonna' have to go to Bayview. EDIT: Oddly, they do have it available from third party sources. Odd since I preordered the effer months ago that Amacon themselves couldn't secure a single copy.
Goofy AF, almost like a zany marriage between Avatar and Star Wars. I got distracted by my phone halfway through, might try it again some day (probably in UHD on the next viewing).
Speaking of 3D Film Archive, they have a wealth of offerings to come. I only hope we live long enough to see them all:

ROBOT MONSTER - SUMMER 2023
THE BUBBLE ROADSHOW - 2024
SOUTHWEST PASSAGE - 2024
THE GLASS WEB - RELEASE DATE TBA
BWANA DEVIL - RELEASE DATE TBA...
That's good information to have, but I don't see anybody purchasing 3D discs from Japan when they would be available stateside (i.e. Avatar sequel). This is slowly down to the actions of a rotten studio.
I like that it includes the UHD, but the MovieNEX is absolutely useless to me stateside. I wonder if there's a market for those on eBay. Speaking Japanese would probably make it easier to hawk said codes.
Anybody ready to blow a cool $80 on Quantumania can now do so: https://www.yesasia.com/us/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania-movienex-4k-ultra-hd-3d-blu-ray-japan/1121509341-0-0-0-en/info.html
Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and the network runs just as well without 80% of the dead weight. 🤷♂️
Didn't even realize new owners were on board, that's a good thing. Welcome.
